Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Additional Agency Requirements: Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong time management skills, ability to muti-task, and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with confidential information and situations. Knowledge of state procurement and making purchases with pCard.

This position is located in End User Services program area within the Office of Information Technology.
While reporting to the Regional IT Supervisor in the Office of Information Technology, provides Tier II solutions to end-user computer and networking problems of a simple to moderate nature to ensure end user productivity, and any other assigned tasks in accordance with Agency initiatives, procedures, and guidelines. This position will provide preventative action recommendations for network issues and data on problematic trends and patterns in customer support requirements.
Diagnoses and repairs simple to moderately complex problems in response to customer reported incidents. Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains simple to moderately complex customer hardware and software. Ensures rigorous application of information security/information assurance polices, principles and practices in the delivery of customer support services for individuals.
Writes and tests documentation as directed, may also make recommendations for technical documentation methods and procedures. May train and/or develop materials for customer training. Provides proactive and timely resolution to tickets based on the severity of the issue. Serves as technical resource for end-users.
Maintains good relations with agency management, vendors, co-workers and end-users. Maintains awareness of IT trends and changes. Provides advice and direction to agency on purchases of hardware and software; conducts feasibility studies; collects survey data and compiles and produces survey results; presents written recommendations to management.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems. A degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Under the direct supervision of the Nutritionist III Supervisor or the Site Supervisor, performs WIC certification, breastfeeding promotion and support, individual low risk nutrition education and health promotion, and group nutrition education. Delivers services to clients and families in clinics, schools, hospitals or office settings. Provides assistance and education to participants/families on contract and List I Special Formulas. Provides technical assistance and consultation to staff as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to clients.
Assessment and Certification: Completes WIC certifications and mid-certifications including health history, nutrition assessment, anthropometrics, immunization screening, hemoglobin or hematocrit testing, evaluation of risk status, prescription of WIC food package, documentation, and referrals following program standards and protocols. Provides participants with information about the WIC program and how to redeem benefits. Schedules upcoming WIC appointments. Performs hemoglobin controls as needed in accordance with CLIA and Agency standards.
Nutrition Education: Provides participant centered nutrition education, counseling, and follow-up for participants. Develops mutual nutrition and physical activity goals with client during certification and mid-certification. Refers clients to web-based nutrition education. Food Packages, Special Formulas, and Reports: Prescribes, updates, and explains food packages. Tailors formula package for partially breastfeeding infants. Provides assistance to families with infants on contract and List I formulas including education, dispensing, and monitoring as assigned. Refers participants on List II and metabolic formulas to the registered dietitian according to WIC guidelines. Pulls and completes reports in SCWIC.
Breastfeeding Promotion and Support: Provides breastfeeding promotion and support to pregnant and breastfeeding women. Screens and refers pregnant and breastfeeding women and infants to the breastfeeding staff according to the Referral Guidelines. Issues and monitors breast pumps and breastfeeding supplies.
Outreach: Provides consultation and technical assistance to other members of the multi-disciplinary health care team and community in areas related to normal nutrition, including health promotion and disease prevention. Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary WIC team in clinic/class scheduling, caseload monitoring, and outreach. Works with other program staff and disciplines to enhance integration and quality of service.

Implements and adheres to agency/program policies and procedures for efficient service delivery. Provides quality customer service in a culturally competent manner. Performs all administrative duties in a culturally competent manner: Meets, interviews and determines if applicants meet the identification, residency and financial requirements for eligibility with the WIC program. Under supervision of the site administrative assistant, performs administrative support duties for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) client services. Implements and adheres to agency/program policies and procedures for efficient service delivery. Provides quality customer service in a culturally competent manner. Maintains strict confidentiality and upholds all agency privacy practices.
Performs all administrative duties in a culturally competent manner: Meets, interviews and determines if applicants meet the identification, residency and financial requirements for eligibility with the WIC program. Processes information, updates client profile, assists with registering to vote, referral as appropriate, completes WIC record, completes data collection and entry into the SCWIC system. Validates and issues electronic WIC card and Farmer's Market checks. Answers telephone, schedules appointments in SCWIC, sends reminder letter or makes reminder phone calls, as needed. Informs and educates clients on program policies, procedures, use of SCWIC card and WIC food guide.
Manages and maintains WIC materials and reports: Follows WIC program security per policy and procedures. Assists in maintaining the non-participation report, client discharge report and others as needed. Completes daily and or monthly SCEIS, PCAS, travel and other requested information.
Completes other duties as assigned, including back-up to other program areas.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements: High school diploma and two (2) years of administrative office experience or an associate degree in secretarial science or a related field. One (1) year of experience which includes public contact.
