• Develop and or modify project schedules and or the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule.
• Maintain the overall Master Program /Project Schedule.
• Link project schedules with the overarching program, Investment Portfolio, functional area and/or other Integrated Master Plans (IMPs).
• Provide hands-on development of layered schedules and IMPs that address how an acquisition project is progressing and how that project contributes to overarching requirements and objectives.
• Maintain status on linkages and dependencies with related projects.

Qualifications:

Clearance: TS/SCI w Polygraph
• Twelve (12) years’ experience as a Scheduler in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Shall have two (2) years of demonstrated experience managing a schedule for an engineering program involving hardware and software development and multiple sub-components using MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities
• 1. Schedules patients from a variety of sources and maintains schedules. Also includes but not limited to MD Scheduling changes, schedule set up and validation. Scheduling may take multiple calls and conversation with Physicians, clinical staff and patients to assure optimal use of schedule, physician productivity and patient satisfaction.
• 2. Registers patients by obtaining necessary documentation for insurance, demographic, and pre-certification. Stays current and demonstrates a working knowledge of existing insurance requirements to eliminate denials and delays in payment.
• 3. Prepares appropriate and necessary documentation for each patient visit base on type of visit. Assures payment source or arranges / schedules a consultation with Financial Counseling.
• 4. Prepares documentation for appointments whether paper or electronically: creates new charts as needed, pulls/files all records for visits, and analyzes patients? records for completeness.
• 5. Answers phones as assigned and triages calls appropriately.
• 6. Receives and disseminates information from other departments, physicians, patients and families.
• 7. Is responsible for center reception; greets and works with patients/family in a professional manner to exceed the customer?s expectation as a standard of excellence.
• 8. Prepares all related forms, patient card and ID bracelet and advises patient of all preparations needed in testing.
• 9. Processes requisitions, collects payments, and enters payments / charges.
• 10. Schedules single/multiple/follow up procedures requested for patient.
• 11. Accomplishes assignments in a timely manner in accordance with department productivity standards.
• 12. Meets performance expectations for Customer Service, Teamwork, Resource Utilization, and Staff and Self Development as outlined in performance review.

3) Works with all insurance companies to acquire authorization for procedures including preauthorization's and any special requirements. Ensures accurate entry of surgical case information and monitors billing compliance.

4) Responsible for the production of reports and data collection tools to track case volumes and maximize block utilization. Evaluates block schedules assigned to each division and releases block time as needed. Create Reports and tracks case volume by division.

5) Collaborates with the staff in Perioperative Services and Access Services. Promotes relationships based on mutual respect and support. Communicates effectively with staff/colleagues/physicians and other members of the health care team.

6) Takes ownership and accountability for accomplishing work assignments for the Surgical Scheduling team. Serves as a teacher/leader/role model in fostering a collaborative environment for unit of responsibility. Willingly performs tasks beyond scope of position.

What Would You Be Doing?

We can teach what you don't know, professional experience is not needed. A Home Care Aide Performs personal care performs activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting in the bathroom or bed side commode, bathing, mouth care, shaving, skin, dressing and hair).
• Assisting the client to check their vitals and help log results.
• Ambulation/Transfers.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities like vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom.
• Provide companionship for the client. This includes accompanying the client on walks, trips, social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, or other fun things!
• Report changes to the client or their environment.

Qualifications

Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial. Adequate typing skills, excellent telephone skills. Ability to deal with a customer via telephone, creating a positive first impression. Able to deal with a wide range of individuals in a professional, courteous manner. Works independently; able to deal with high volume of calls within workday.

High school degree or equivalent. Prior office experience and/or experience dealing with public required.

Prior hospital/ medical experience in registration and/or scheduling preferred. Epic, Excel and Word experience
