• Monitor trends in the mobile app and advertising space to identify compelling and actionable insights for current and prospective customers
• Travel a few times a year to present original analysis to audiences of varying sizes

Experience we are looking for:
• Bachelor's degree or above in economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science or other field with a strong foundation in statistics or data analysis
• 2+ years applied experience in business intelligence, data mining, analytics, or statistical modeling
• A passion for data analysis and presentation of data insights (an interest in mobile apps or mobile gaming is a plus!)
• Practical knowledge and familiarity with querying data from databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tool sets, coding languages, and techniques (Python, R, Ruby etc.)
• Strong proficiency with one or more statistical visualization or graphing toolkits (Seaborn, Matplotlib, GGPlot, MS Excel, etc.)

Like most roles at Sensor Tower this role is a flexible one that allows you to tap into the knowledge and work together with the fullstack and back end engineers to deliver end to end functionality while still allowing you to progressively learn other parts of the stack and grow your skills broader or deeper.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the product managers to design features
• Implement and release product features
• Troubleshoot and fix product issues
• Conduct code reviews
Requirements
• Experience with React.js and JavaScript
• Deep passion for the user experience and customer empathy
• Deep understanding of modern front end frameworks and libraries
• Analytics and data visualization experience
Extra Credit
• A portfolio of live contributions on the web (e.g. GitHub or Stack Overflow) that demonstrate your passion for great design
• Experience delivering demanding, data-centric web services to Enterprise-class customers

What You Will Do:
• You will prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• You will prepare and/or review ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee and manage annual financial audits
• Propose efficiency improvements in accounting processes and accounting systems.
• Develop and implement internal controls and prepare the company for SOX compliance.
• Research accounting issues, perform technical accounting analyses, and implement new accounting guidance.
• Manage insurance coverage, renewals and indirect tax filings.

Experience We Want to See:
• You’re an active CPA with a combination of public accounting and industry experience including several years at a SaaS company. Big 4 preferred.
• Progressive experience managing general ledger, accounting operations and systems at a midsize (300+ employees) growing company.
• Experience with ASC606 in a SaaS environment.
• You have thorough knowledge of US GAAP
• You’re proficient with NetSuite and ADP as well as other major ERPs.
