PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
• Developing and maintaining Enterprise and Energy Segment Strategy - including Go-To-Market approach, Partners/Channels, Pricing Strategy, and End-to-End Solution Packaging
• Identifying and recommending priority markets for SES, including customer segments and solutions, geographies, and addressable markets
• Leading efforts internal to SES across multiple functional organizations to lobby for and secure resourcing to deliver on the strategy (e.g. staff, tools, etc.)
• Analysing and gaining deep insights into market conditions for the Fixed Networks Segment as it relates to satellite enabled Enterprise connectivity, Mobile/Cellular networking, Wholesale IP/Ethernet Trunking , Cloud, and Consumer Broadband applications
• In parallel, assessing future technology evolution for the Fixed Networks Segment; e.g. Satellite Segment evolution, plus higher order capabilities such as Enterprise IT/OT trends, Cloud Infrastructure and Services, IoT, LTE/5G evolutions, etc.
• Diagnosing customer needs - i.e., desired business outcomes and challenges/pain points - that ultimately inform SES' portfolio strategy for the Fixed Data Segment
• Defining, and launching impactful product and service offerings for the Fixed Data Segment - with key deliverables including Business Cases, Market Requirement Descriptions, Solution Descriptions, Fleet/Asset Utilization Strategies, Commercial/Pricing Structures, Partner/Channel Requirements, and Customer Facing Collateral (roadmaps, feature descriptions, value propositions).
• Owning & managing the product and service offerings from cradle-to-grave using industry convention Product LifeCycle (PLC) processes: Introduction, Growth, Maturity, and Decline.
• Delivering on KPIs for segment success, typically measured by sales, revenues, P&L/profitability, and RoI on required investments.
• Communicating the Fixed Data Segment strategy internally and externally, serving as an advocate and leading by influence to align cross-functional stakeholders in support of the strategy
• Working with SES Marketing functions, designing and orchestrating sales enablement campaigns: Collateral, training, roadshows, etc.
• Interfacing with a cross-functional set of peers & internal/external functions including Product Management, Engineering, Commercial Management, Asset Management, Suppliers, Partners/Channels, and Sales and Marketing in support of the Fixed Networks Segment strategy and business.
• Serving as a public voice for SES for developing market presence and thought leadership for the Fixed Data Segment, which could include evangelizing in customer and industry fora as well as supporting media and analyst events

• Demonstrated knowledge of business and technology trends for key Fixed Networks application areas - Enterprise IT/OT/Cloud/IoT connectivity, Energy sector connectivity, Bandwidth wholesaling,
• Extensive experience interfacing with customers to assess their business objectives, challenges, and pain points, including working with customers as a trusted advisor to recommend impactful solutions
• Proven track record of launching and managing products and services aimed at Telco/MNO, ISP, Satellite Service Provider, System Integrator, and/or end user Enterprise customers. Experience defining such products and services on behalf of a communications or network service provider is preferred.
• Experience with processes for new product development, implementation & management, including market trends/analysis, business case justifications, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management

• Manage operational aspects of a semester long course in environmental sciences. The Coordinator is responsible for working with the education director, program director and faculty in the Semester in Environmental Science (SES) to ensure smooth operations. The Coordinator also serves as a point of contact for students with routine inquiries about the program.
• Attend Education Department staff meetings and work to foster synergism between SES and other MBL Education Department activities.
• Assist with relationship-building with partner schools.
• Coordinate with SES/MBL staff to develop and distribute recruiting materials for SES.
• Work with MBL staff to process applications and acceptances to the SES program.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the SES program website and social media outlets.
• Maintain files for all students entering the SES program that include application materials, invoice records, completed course work including exams and reports, and final transcripts. Student files maintained in accordance with state and federal laws, and the protection of PII.

The Technician will provide daily operational support for ViaSat Arclight hubs and remote systems supporting global TDMA/IP networks. As an integral part of the team, the Technician's tasking may include shift work, including weekends and holidays. Analyzes moderately complex communication systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites, and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges and other devices. Primary & Essential Accountabilities
• Continuously monitor network and space segment performance to provide customer tier 2 and tier 3 support as required
• Resolve customer issues related to broadband IP communication via satellite transmission; support complex systems installations and startup at customer sites
• Monitor ViaSat Arclight equipment configurations and network performance, in real-time, and report conditions and anomalies to the designated team lead
• Prepare reports on network utilization, performance and activity as required
• Open and track trouble tickets as required to resolve network or terminal issues
• Provide Quality Control (QC) and oversight of configuration files, Master Station Log (MSL) entries and Remedy trouble ticket entries
• Isolate and correct network faults provided software toolsets
• Troubleshoot network anomalies, satellite outages, and any deployable KuSS terminal satellite related issues
• Proactively monitor the AISR-T networks for impending issues by using an analysis of measured vs. planned performance, detection, and analysis of performance trends, and the KuSS terminals performance characteristics
• Manage service restoration activities and track/update trouble ticketing system (Remedy)
• Provide status reports to customers and management personnel
• Provide testing and implementation support of new software releases for deployed network equipment
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve product related issues resulting from installation, software and hardware upgrades, configuration changes, equipment integration or testing
• Maintain timely and accurate helpdesk records using the ticket management system
• Assist with the detailed project planning efforts on larger projects, and may act as a project manager on smaller efforts
• May review proposals, including gathering facts, analyzing data and preparing project overview to compare alternatives
