Electric Bike Tour Guide... - SF’s best independent bike tour company since 2013

Join our awesome small team of passionate cyclists, San Francisco enthusiasts, SF’s best bike tour guides. We care about delivering the highest quality local experience that is a cut (or three!) above what any other bike rental or tour company offers in the city. You’ll work with locals and visitors from around the world starting at a cool workshop space in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, just one block from GG Park.

What makes this bike tour gig unique (and the best) in San Francisco
• Wireless headset system - communicate directly with guests (one-way) throughout the tour. This allows for so much more possibility to lead an awesome tour, with greater group coherence and guest satisfaction. This also saves your voice and allows you to be more refreshed at the end of your day.
• SF best fleet of all electric bikes - ride the best electric bikes that allow you to go anywhere in SF without worry about hills. All our bikes are electric and super well maintained, meaning you get to lead your best tour without limits.
• Highest quality guests - We don’t attract the budget Fisherman’s Wharf crowd. We get a lot of guests who are seeking a unique experience, are generally great bikers, and leave excellent tips. This means you have more fun and make more money.
• Small group sizes (9 or less)
• Pastry stop on every tour!

Salary range: $30-$35+/hr. depending on experience + tips . Bonuses and cool perks available for high performance.

Work Availability: 2-4 tours per week, including weekends, possibility for more tours for the right guide (~4 hour commitment per tour)

This job is for you if:
• You’re a performer and a people person who’s professionally led tours; you’re confident in your ability to lead an excellent tour
• You embrace a work hard, play hard philosophy.
• Love bikes and ride bikes
• Nerd out on San Francisco
• Want to connect with cool people from around the world
• Want to work for an independent, local small business dedicated to giving the best experience (to customer AND guides)
• You’re reliable, have great communication skills, and deliver excellent customer service (you walk the talk)

Job Requirements
• At least a year (preferably 2+) leading tours professionally. Bike tour guide experience highly preferred; we expect our guides to hit the ground running
• Demonstrated record of leading an excellent tour - we only want to work with the best tour leader
• Excellent biking skills
• Basic bike mechanical skills (you know how to fix a flat, make simple brake adjustments, etc)
• Solid knowledge of San Francisco history, landmarks, neighborhoods, bike routes, etc. (this is not an ideal gig for new arrivals). You know the city well and can share what you love and your favorite places to visit, eat, etc.
• Preferably live in San Francisco

How to Apply

If you said YES to the above, we want to chat with you. Please introduce yourself, tell us why you’d be a good fit, and include an updated resume with your tour guide experience to be considered
