Summary

Under general direction, this role performs a variety of job responsibilities which may include delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers from the Unit office, equipment and plant maintenance work, and fertilizer blending.

The Specialist, Collections is responsible for the timely completion of accounts receivable, and collections functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Responsible for the timely completion of Account Receivables and Payables Collections to ensure weekly, monthly and annual targets are met
• Responsible for understanding, complying, and enforcing the SGS Travel and Business Expense Policy

We´re looking for a Food & Packaging Specification technologist based in Madrid in order to work in multidisciplinary projects to enhance food safety, quality, profitability and other related matters.

Functionalities:

- Works in multidisciplinary projects to enhance food safety, quality, profitability, and other related matters, specifically

- Defines Quality Standards for food items and food contact packaging ones and applying them into new and existing specifications

-Updates existing food specifications so to comply with client new policies and standards, cooperating in the suppliers approved status maintenance

-Acts as technical expert in specifics food categories. Monitors any EU regulatory changes related to them to keep whole team and client fully updated in this field

-Organizes meetings and calls with suppliers and/or client in order to define and clarify specific Food Safety and QA standards according to applicable regulations or client requirements

-Reviews and updates the information provided by suppliers related to allergen and nutritional declaration for specific ingredients

Requisitos

- BSc or MSc in Food science, Chemistry, Biologic Science, Veterinary Science, Nutrition or any related Life Science field.

- High English level, CAE (C1) minimum required. Minimum 6 months experience – studying or working - in foreign speaking countries

- General knowledge in Food manufacturing industry.

-Minimum 1 year of progressive work experience in similar functions

-Very good computer skills (skilled with Microsoft applications such as Excel is a must).
