Summary
Under general direction, this role performs a variety of job responsibilities which may include delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers from the Unit office, equipment and plant maintenance work, and fertilizer blending.
Key Responsibilities

The Specialist, Collections is responsible for the timely completion of accounts receivable, and collections functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Responsible for the timely completion of Account Receivables and Payables Collections to ensure weekly, monthly and annual targets are met
• Responsible for understanding, complying, and enforcing the SGS Travel and Business Expense Policy
• Audit invoices for discrepancies and resolve time-sensitive client disputes to ensure timely turnaround of payments
• Ensure business travel and entertainment expenses are invoiced correctly, reasonably, and consistently with the company travel policy
• Confirm data from the auditor invoice against the client contract and business system to verify that the audit time charged is correct
• Proactively communicate with Management to assure awareness of any customer issues and recommendations for improvement and/or resolution.
• Manage invoice inquiries through Outlook via emails
• Manage client/vendor portals which may include setting up and uploading of invoices
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls while building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Determine the validity of invoice/account discrepancies by investigating and obtaining information from operations, billing, and customers. Issue credits as needed
• Process credit checks for new clients and communicates high-risk credit scores to Management to determine payment terms
• Submit name, address, and bank detail changes to Finance for clients.

• Prepare prepayment requests and credits as needed
• Process credit card payments and send checks to the lockbox

SGS is looking for an Asbestos Surveyor / Air Tester to join our growing and highly successful Environmental division. In this role, you’ll conduct asbestos consultancy work at sites predominantly throughout NE England but occasionally UK wide including asbestos surveys, asbestos air tests, provision of advice and project management.
Key Accountabilities;
• Accurate interpretation of job instructions including any scope of works or contract review; subsequent accurate identification & safe sampling of suspect ACM’s including clear recording of same.
• Subsequent accurate assessment of asbestos removal works, detection of asbestos debris and ensuring the site complies with the requirements of HSG 247 clearance test.
• Collation of appropriate information to allow pricing of work, job booking and scheduling.
• Account management for specific clients.
• Proactive liaison with clients and line manager during site work where problems are found.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience working within an Asbestos surveyor / Analyst role. In addition to this, you will need excellent knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and an excellent understanding of air monitoring, clearance testing and asbestos removal management.

Entrega y asegura la calidad de los muestreos y/o mediciones de cada servicio asignado,
cumpliendo el nivel técnico, plazos exigidos y siendo responsable de transmitir dicha información
de acuerdo a la organización de su área.
Responsable de registrar e ingresar la información proveniente de las actividades de muestreo
(mediciones in situ, observaciones, datos de muestreos puntuales y/o compuestos, entre otros) en
los sistemas que la empresa disponga y elaborar el informe de terreno.
Protege la integridad de los Ítems muestreados, asegurando la trazabilidad y el registro de la
actividad en los documentos y/o sistemas dispuestos para ello, de manera clara, ordenada e
integra.
Vela por el cumplimiento de todas las medidas de higiene y seguridad establecidas, uso y cuidado
de elementos de seguridad y reporte de los riesgos que identifique.
