The position will report directly to the Director, Editorial Content with responsibilities divided between supporting both editorial needs of SHO.com, the network’s primary marketing web site, and the broader digital marketing efforts around Showtime’s original... series. In addition to assisting in planning, administration and management of promotional schedules and editorial content for SHO.com, the successful candidate will work closely across digital teams and other marketing groups to support, in part, the Series Lead Marketers for all things digital.

As appropriate, this position will interface directly with Design, PR and Business Affairs/Legal in order to acquire necessary assets and information and obtain necessary approvals. The Coordinator is vital to the digital marketing team’s editorial flow of content, helping to expedite process and driving key metrics for the site, while ensuring brand consistency and factual accuracy.

Basic Responsibilities:
• Work with Director, Editorial Content to support and execute administrative and editorial needs of SHO.com and series sites (Homeland, Shameless, Ray Donovan, etc.)
• Utilize CMS scheduling and publishing tools to build, publish and track promotions for editorial planning schedules on a daily and weekly basis
• Support the development and creation of weekly and monthly editorial calendars
• Work in close collaboration with creative, production, technology and asset management to request, develop, administer, and manage digital marketing content assets, copy and promotional details, performing quality assurance checks to ensure content and associated metadata appears appropriately on all platforms
• Update digital marketing planning documents and communicate updates and needs to the Marketing, Production, and Design teams.
• Troubleshoot and protect the accuracy and timeliness of all Showtime sites and digital brands on a daily basis
• Provide ongoing support in meeting editorial requirements for the series site creation process
• Help manage and execute processes for promoting SHO.com store merchandise on SHO.com and series sites
• Assist in analyzing web statistics to evaluate content effectiveness and usability, suggesting improvements and amendments where merited
• Provide support for search marketing campaigns, tracking and analysis
• Assist in creating digital strategy documents that are used to brief outside agencies on large-scale digital marketing campaigns
• Assist in the development of multi-platform content and transmedia extensions
• Provide research assistance on digital trends, platforms and influencers
• Support and present other special marketing projects, including process documentation, competitive research, and reporting
• As needed, assist with QAing website and key platform launches.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proactive worker with very strong ATTENTION TO DETAIL
• Strong administrative and organizational skills — including ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, with daily tracking and regular follow-up
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate across various functions including design, technology, marketing, and vendors)
• Excellent grammatical skills needed; ability to copy edit/write online promotional messaging
• Ability to work with web based tools
• Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Must be able and willing to take initiative and to problem-solve as appropriate within the scope of responsibilities of this position
• Knowledge and passion regarding media landscape, including VOD, OTT, social media, mobile and emerging platforms
• Ability to work independently and be comfortable with ambiguity (i.e., problem solving skills are essential when solutions are not readily apparent

Overview and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and experienced senior manager to join the Paramount Global Residuals team! This position is a key member in our residuals department and will interact with various departments such as Labor, Production Finance, and Business Affairs to facilitate the various residual payments.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, forecast, and initiate monthly and quarterly payments

• Review talent set ups and other work performed by analysts

• Coordinate and communicate with outsourced residuals partner to ensure timely set ups as well as timely processing of triggers, revenues, and payments

• Support audit requests for both external, guild, and internal audits

• Work with our outsourcing partner and internal Financial Reporting Group to ensure accurate and timely journal entries are booked

• Review monthly and quarterly residual payments with VP and ensure questions are addressed as needed

• Work with guilds to resolve various claims that arise, escalating to VP as needed

• Build and maintain automated models to assist processing of residuals for this team and other as required by the VP

• Participate in and/or oversee testing and implementation of various system enhancements and as part of larger ERP and Residuals system projects

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred

• 8+ years of related industry experience required, preferably in residuals

• Ability to interpret and apply talent contracts and/or collective bargaining agreements

• Strong Excel knowledge to create and maintain various analytical spreadsheets

• Good interpersonal and managerial skills

• Excellent project management and record tracking skills

• Strong technical and analytical skills

• Self-starter, proactive, and analytical

• Possess critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Able to multitask and ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Computer modeling and large database analysis capability in Microsoft Excel are essential

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 107,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
