Position Overview The Field Clinical Specialist is a visible position that will provide case support to physicians within certain territories. Case support will be done on peripheral and coronary interventional procedures in the pre-market and post-market phases of product development with the Shockwave Medical IVL technology. Position Overview

The Sr. Clinical Research Associate (Sr. CRA) will be responsible for establishing, managing and meeting milestones of clinical studies in compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards and in alignment with business needs. They will be accountable for clinical project management activities, for coordination with cross-functional counterparts and contract research organizations (CROs) in global studies. This position requires strategic, project and resource management responsibilities for the assigned clinical program(s) to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of interventional products. This work is accomplished with moderate supervision and requires a motivated, self-starter who can work independently once projects are assigned.

Essential Job Functions
• Participate in the design and execution of global studies for regulatory submissions, reimbursement and product adoption, including clinical study documents (protocol, case report forms, etc.), study implementation and data management.
• Manage study preparation, activation, enrollment, submission, maintenance and closure activities.
• Participate in administrative activities associated with the clinical department including procedures, training of key personnel and preparation and maintenance of objectives and budgets.
• Interface with representatives from key functional groups to drive product development within core teams, and clinical wide or cross-departmental initiatives.
• Ensures appropriate oversight of clinical study by internal and external resources including, but not limited to monitoring staff, CROs and core laboratories.
• Manage key study investigators; foster and maintain strong relationships through direct interactions with medical advisors and clinical leaders.
• Negotiate contracts with hospitals, consultants, investigators, CROs, database management firms and outside suppliers.
• Supervise training of investigators, site staff and field clinical staff.
• Evaluates clinical and adverse event data during the conduct of the study and for completion of clinical study reports and other technical documents.
• Ensures quality by maintaining compliance, reviewing device complaints, reviewing audit reports and implementing corrective actions.
• Regularly communicates study status to senior management and represents organization to key customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field of study preferred
• Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA, ISO and other applicable regulations)
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience directly supporting clinical research or relevant experience in medical/scientific area
• Knowledge of FDA and international regulations and guidelines including, but not limited to, clinical strategy, GCPs, SOPs, submissions, product launch, labeling, advertising and promotion, product vigilance and medical device reporting
• ACRP or SOCRA clinical research certification preferred

Essential Job Functions Establishes and maintains department standards for safety, productivity, reliability, and accuracy. Ensure compliance to quality systems (FDA, GMP, QSR, ISO), product specifications, process instructions, safety requirements and company policies. Includes the diligent management of non-conformances to ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Retains responsibility for product from initial assembly to final distribution. Schedules and organizes assigned manufacturing lines to achieve 100% product availability and maintain targeted levels of inventories. Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause. Estimate materials, tools and supply requirements and provide coordination of fulfillment. Troubleshoot work problems with employees; convey a sense of urgency and drive issues to closure. Participate in developing new procedures and processes to improve manufacturing or introduce new products. Create, route, collaborate and approve document change orders that affect production documentation. Support experimental builds using documented guidelines provided by engineers. Manages staffing through coaching and development, employment decisions and resolving employee issues through problem resolution. Develops direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks, rewarding positive behavior, and applying disciplinary action as appropriate. Monitors daily work metrics and provides direction and guidance to skilled nonexempt staff to achieve unit or project goals. Communicates to line personnel daily while maintaining a constant line presence. Communicates with other departments and functions as needed in support of meeting operational objectives. Inspects for proper sanitation of equipment and facilities; takes corrective action to resolve deficiencies. Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area. Assist in time studies to quantify processing times and identify areas for process improvements. Adapt to frequent changes in the work environment; manage multiple tasks and competing demands. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor. Experience working with manufacturing/ERP systems (QAD preferred). Experience with Microsoft Office or similar computer software. Knowledge of and compliance with applicable Quality System requirements such as QSRs, FDA, ISO, MDD and other applicable regulations. Position Overview

Shockwave Medical, Inc. is looking for a Manager, Stock Administration to administer our global equity plan including but not limited to equity grants, option exercising, equity grant releases. The Manager, Stock Administration will also own year-end reporting, SOX Compliance and will lead all company-wide equity related communications.

Essential Job Functions
• Manage and administers equity compensation plans, including equity grants, option exercises, equity grant releases, employee demographic updates and equity education in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage the Equity Administration email alias and reply to employee inquiries timely related to equity compensation.
• Manage third-party outsource stock administration vendor relationship
• Assist with month-end close process
• Lead all company-wide equity related communications
• Maintain SOX Compliance and assist with quarterly testing/audits by internal and external teams.
• Responsible for year-end reporting requirements
• Manage international payrolls with outsource providers and HR, including reviewing proposed journal entries

Requirements
• BA/BS or equivalent experience

• Proficient in Excel including VLOOKUP’s and Pivot tables
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
• Comprehensive understanding of many different types of equity awards and public company equity programs, across multiple jurisdictions
• Certified Equity Professional (CEP) a plus
