JOB SUMMARY:

As a QA Engineer II, you will be part of Simpleview's Engineering organization that maintains and extends its SaaS products and enterprise platforms which power the websites of top leisure and meeting destinations all over the world. An engineer at this level is a seasoned professional with competence and creativity in a wide range of technical areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• All members of the Product organization must strive to exemplify Simpleview's employee guidelines and corporate values (Hard Work, Working Smart, People, Communications, and Environment).
• Learn and understand the functionality of Simpleview products such as DMS, the Simpleview CMS, Extranet, and others.
• Proactively participates in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Reviews requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Identifies risks and promptly communicates with the team for further evaluation.
• Identifies functional and non-functional aspects of the system to be tested.
• Identifies appropriate testing methodologies including functional, integration, end-to-end, etc.
• Creates comprehensive and well-structured test plans.
• Works closely with Product Manager and Engineering to define testable user stories, including acceptance criteria.
• Breaks down user stories into detailed step-by-step test cases, including preconditions and expected results.
• Prioritizes tasks based on risk assessment.
• Refines and updates test cases as necessary.
• Conducts manual testing of defined test cases.
• Contributes to the regression suite by supporting and participating in test automation.
• Refines and updates automated tests as necessary.
• Conducts regression testing via test automation suite or manually if automation isn't available.
• Evaluates regression results and promptly report any issues with the team.
• Conducts exploratory testing.
• Validates consistency across devices, operating systems, and browsers.
• Works with the Product Manager and Engineering to evaluate issues that arise during testing.
• Thoroughly identifies and reports bugs throughout the testing process.
• Completes work within the agreed-upon timeframe and communicates any blockers as necessary.
• Contributes to QA documentation within Confluence.
• Stays current with new testing tools and testing strategies.
• Accurately enter time against tasks for capacity planning.
• Represent Simpleview in a professional manner at external functions, networking events, and client demonstration meetings.
• Adhere to companies coding standards and development best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 3+ years related QA experience in Agile development environments
• Adept in Agile/Scrum development processes and methodologies
• 3+ years in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• 2+ years of experience with both browser-based application testing and native app testing
• Effectively writes clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Competently documents bugs/defects
• Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Solid working knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational (MSSQL) databases including the ability to write basic queries
• Skilled at writing GraphQL queries and mutations
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

JOB SUMMARY:

The SEO Analyst is a customer-facing role that focuses on providing expertise and strategic consulting to Simpleview’s SEO clients. They focus on growing traffic and conversions through organic search engine optimization, but may also occasionally provide guidance in paid media and other digital marketing campaigns.

SEO Analysts support their clients by understanding their digital marketing objectives, conducting research and analysis, monitoring performance, and providing recommendations to improve performance and meet client goals. The SEO Analyst accurately understands the SEO client’s goals and objectives and effectively communicates that information to others within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account Management and Customer Service
• Manages SEO services for all assigned accounts, including meeting all service level agreements.
• Conducts phone and face-to-face consultation, reporting, and training with clients. Delivers presentations.
• Educates clients about SEO, including best practices. Provides recommendations for better results.
• Manages client communications and scope changes during project execution. Provides professional feedback and guidance when unreasonable demands are made.
• Reviews and responds to clients without delay and with complete answers.
• Assists customers with technical implementations.
• Creates and maintains positive client relationships and a high level of client satisfaction.
• Works with Sales and Customer Experience departments to ensure customized proposals and statements of work for SEO contracts accurately reflect time and cost.
• Identifies and communicates upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

SEO Research and Analysis
• Conducts thorough on-page optimization and site health checks.
• Analyzes data trends and organic performance, develops strategic SEO plans, and conducts SEO activities to attain high visibility on search engines.
• Implements creative ways to improve organic results and works closely in a consultative role with the clients and SEO team.
• Explains SEO performance issues to clients in ways that are clear, understandable, and valuable.

Report Creation and Presentation
• Utilizes Google Analytics, Search Console, and other platforms to review SEO performance and provide descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses.
• Provides complete and correct monthly and quarterly reports by the 10th business day of the following month. Ensures delivery of all reports 48 hours prior to a client call.
• Conveys analysis and recommendations in the report that are useful and unique to the client.

Ticket Completion
• Properly executes and produces all contracted items within an SEO project’s stated scope of work.
• Thoroughly reads, understands, and completes assigned tickets quickly without compromising quality.
• Creates and submits detailed tickets to SEO Specialists, developers, or other departments for support when necessary.
• Reviews tickets when complete and checks for accuracy before closing the ticket.
• Self-manages ticket queue and assigns tickets as necessary for issues that arise, including new page optimizations.
• Develops and executes annual SEO Account Plan items on time and paces accounts appropriately.

Technical SEO
• Applies common SEO tools with confidence, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Moz SEO, to assess SEO performance.

Professional Knowledge
• Displays up-to-date knowledge of SEO and digital marketing techniques, trends, and developments.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a talented digital marketer who exhibits the following attributes:
• Demonstrates a strong background with Google Analytics and other digital SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Hotjar, Screaming Frog, and MOZ, among others.
• Develops and executes search engine optimization initiatives to drive incremental search traffic.
• Exercises critical thinking to conduct a thorough analysis that results in actionable insights.
• Is passionate about SEO and remains knowledgeable about trends and best practices.
• Communicates clearly, effectively, and persuasively in both written and verbal forms.
• Exercises good judgment to take smart action and solve problems, does not require constant oversight, does more than the bare minimum, and performs under pressure.
• Maintains high standards and provides work that is professionally composed and free of error.

A degree is not a requirement. The ideal candidate has a minimum of a year of industry-agnostic experience conducting search engine optimization in a client-facing role. Although actual travel is relatively minimal, the ideal candidate must be willing and able to travel domestically or internationally.

SEO Analysts support their clients by understanding their digital marketing objectives, conducting research and analysis, monitoring performance, and providing recommendations to improve performance and meet client goals. The SEO Analyst accurately understands the SEO client’s goals and objectives and effectively communicates that information to others within the organization.

Responsibilities

Account Management and Customer Service
• Manages SEO services for all assigned accounts, including meeting all service level agreements.
• Conducts phone and face-to-face consultation, reporting, and training with clients. Delivers presentations.
• Educates clients about SEO, including best practices. Provides recommendations for better results.
• Manages client communications and scope changes during project execution. Provides professional feedback and guidance when unreasonable demands are made.
• Reviews and responds to clients without delay and with complete answers.
• Assists customers with technical implementations.
• Creates and maintains positive client relationships and a high level of client satisfaction.
• Works with Sales and Customer Experience departments to ensure customized proposals and statements of work for SEO contracts accurately reflect time and cost.
• Identifies and communicates upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

SEO Research and Analysis
• Conducts thorough on-page optimization and site health checks.
• Analyzes data trends and organic performance, develops strategic SEO plans, and conducts SEO activities to attain high visibility on search engines.
• Implements creative ways to improve organic results and works closely in a consultative role with the clients and SEO team.
• Explains SEO performance issues to clients in ways that are clear, understandable, and valuable.

Report Creation and Presentation
• Utilizes Google Analytics, Search Console, and other platforms to review SEO performance and provide descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses.
• Provides complete and correct monthly and quarterly reports by the 10th business day of the following month. Ensures delivery of all reports 48 hours prior to a client call.
• Conveys analysis and recommendations in the report that are useful and unique to the client.

Ticket Completion
• Properly executes and produces all contracted items within an SEO project’s stated scope of work.
• Thoroughly reads, understands, and completes assigned tickets quickly without compromising quality.
• Creates and submits detailed tickets to SEO Specialists, developers, or other departments for support when necessary.
• Reviews tickets when complete and checks for accuracy before closing the ticket.
• Self-manages ticket queue and assigns tickets as necessary for issues that arise, including new page optimizations.
• Develops and executes annual SEO Account Plan items on time and paces accounts appropriately.

Technical SEO
• Applies common SEO tools with confidence, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Moz SEO, to assess SEO performance.

Professional Knowledge
• Displays up-to-date knowledge of SEO and digital marketing techniques, trends, and developments.

Requirements

This position requires a talented digital marketer who exhibits the following attributes:
• Demonstrates a strong background with Google Analytics and other digital SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Hotjar, Screaming Frog, and MOZ, among others.
• Develops and executes search engine optimization initiatives to drive incremental search traffic.
• Exercises critical thinking to conduct a thorough analysis that results in actionable insights.
• Is passionate about SEO and remains knowledgeable about trends and best practices.
• Communicates clearly, effectively, and persuasively in both written and verbal forms.
