WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This leadership position will drive results by overseeing all aspects of Rides scheduling. Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the team to drive an exceptional experience to guests and team members. Assists Management Team with strategic planning, fiscal and labor management other aspects of Ride Operations.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
• Create and edit schedules up to 3 weeks in advance to meet the daily needs of the Rides Departments
• Actively monitor projected and budgeted attendance and adjust schedule based on high/low demand days.
• Review and approve time off requests, availability changes and shift swaps.
• Work directly with team members’ availability/ scheduling conflicts.
• Communicate often and frequently with department leadership regarding staffing levels.
• Assist with the onboarding of new team members by scheduling department trainings, and ensuring trainer availability.
• Ensure the core team is being scheduled for a minimum 30 hours a week. Communicate with leadership when team members are not hitting their required hours.
• Work with the Quality Assurance supervisor to ensure adequate staffing levels for work crew shifts.
• Update and maintain a list of team members who are no longer showing up to assigned shifts.
• Monitor 2 week notices/ immediate notices/ leave of absences and ensure team members are not scheduled past their last working day.
• Assist department leadership with approving/ correcting timesheets.
• Work with area supervisor to ensure team members are coded under the correct home location for compliance with the crew system initiative.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• A valid State Driver’s License and be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Leadership experience in theme park operations – ride experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical and time management skills.
• Must be positive, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, self-motivated and lead by example.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications, similar reporting tools and able to maintain written records.
