About the Position:

We are looking for a self-starter to become our Account Executive, Group Sales who can prospect new business opportunities and can think outside the box. This person will provide first-class customer service in all aspects of the job and has initiative to prospect new business opportunities. We are looking for someone who possesses strong communication skills and can build strong relationships in the San Jose community. This person will report to the Manager, Group Sales.

Summary:
The Assistant, Match Day Media Relations will help oversee media relations operations at Earthquakes home matches. Match day roles include acting as photo marshal, press box attendant, statistician, and media will call attendant, among others as necessary.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee key areas of the club's media relations game day operations.
• Assist members of the media to ensure a smooth and enjoyable work experience.
• Work in collaboration with the Coordinator, Communications to solve problems that may arise.

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of soccer, the San Jose Earthquakes, and Major League Soccer.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capability to manage assignments from start to finish, without direct supervision.

Summary
The San Jose Earthquakes have an opening for a Facility Technician at PayPal Park. PayPal Park is a 18,000-seat outdoor venue and the home of MLS’s San Jose Earthquakes. Under general supervision of the Sr. Director of Stadium Operations, the Facility Technician will perform a variety of skilled and unskilled activities involved in the operation and maintenance of the facility. This is a part-time as needed position.

Responsibilities
The Facility Technician job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Equipment
• Preventative Maintenance batteries on all equipment.
• Power wash equipment monthly
• Conduct visual inspections on tires, carts, hoses, etc. to ensure safety.
• Contain propane in cages and ensure equipment is filled with fuel.

Electrical
• Change lights in the front office and stadium.
• Change outlets.
• Cable Termination.
• Clean concourse lights.
• Preventative Maintenance.
• Change batteries on door readers.
• Preventative Maintenance on locks.
• Trouble shooting door readers and lock issues

Plumbing
• Changing batteries on urinals.
• Gasket changing.
• Fixture repairs.
• Preventative Maintenance.

Waste Management
• Recycle all materials (separate trash from recyclables).
• Empty yard bins as needed.
• Keep the yard and tailgate lot clean.
• Pick up waste around the stadium as you conduct other duties as assigned.

Stadium Beautification
• Paint or repair doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
• Gameday duties including but not limited to field and LED board setup, soccer goal setup, light tower setup, etc.
• Conduct visual inspections of all stadium seating, tables, chairs etc. to ensure proper quality.
• Preventative Maintenance on roofs, power wash and sweep until cleaned.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Know general techniques in plumbing, electrical wiring, and ventilating systems to be able to assist the maintenance technicians and vendors, as needed.
• Have a basic understanding of door hardware, locks, key access card system, door closures etc.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule.
• Must have the ability to be flexible and able to make changes on the fly.
• Must have the ability to work in extreme pressure situations.
