• Grow the Friends donor membership program through monthly renewal efforts, targeted upgrade requests, prospect cultivation and solicitation, and stewardship with support from the Membership Committee
• Oversee fundraising initiatives, including planning and coordinating fundraising events with the support of the Fundraising Committee
• Cultivate relationships with potential donors with support from fundraising consultants and the Board
• Support membership and annual campaigns, such as composing targeted year-end appeals, retail appeals, outreach materials, and special project-based appeals
• Provide support to the Friends Board and Committees, including help with invitations and acknowledgments, donor benefits and sponsorship fulfillment, administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned
• Prepare reports on fundraising activity, prospect management, and database functions
• Be present at Friends events such as outreach, fundraising, and book sales
• Attend monthly executive committee and board meetings
• Attend Fundraising Committee, Membership Committee, and Advocacy & Outreach Committee Meetings
• Understand and explain budget and financial spreadsheets
• Serve as primary liaison and point of contact with SLCPL leadership and employees
