JOB DUTIES:
• Produces and monitors written and visual digital content (earned, owned, paid) for Saint Louis University's official social media accounts.

• Assists University stakeholders, schools, and departments in their social media presence and in upholding SLU's social media guidelines.
• Assists in crisis response and monitoring; gauges and reports on sentiment on social media channels; represents SLU in official social media responses/customer service.

Job Summary
Founded in 1959, Saint Louis University (SLU)'s 1818 Advanced College Credit Program is the oldest dual credit program in the U.S. west of the Mississippi River and has a long history of providing high school students the opportunity to earn college credit from SLU at a significantly reduced tuition rate. The 1818 Program facilitates collaboration between high school and university faculties to provide rigorous university courses for high school students in the Jesuit educational tradition. Courses offered through the 1818 Program are the same courses taken by SLU's undergraduate, degree-seeking students at our St. Louis, MO, campus.
The 1818 Faculty Liaison Support Coordinator (History) supplements the work of SLU's 1818 faculty liaison(s) in our Department of History, frequently working in the high schools with which we partner to provide administrative and field-based support The Coordinator serves under the direct supervision of the Academic Program Manager in the 1818 Program Office; however, day-to-day duties are established collaboratively with the Coordinator's respective faculty liaison(s) in the History Department. Coordinator work is also significantly informed by continuous training and development offered by the Reinert Center for Teaching and Learning.

Job Duties
• Represent, and serve as an extension of, 1818 faculty liaisons via the conduct of classroom observational visits. Requires substantial travel locally and regionally, with occasional out-of-state travel.
• Share visit observations and constituent feedback with liaisons to support liaisons' evaluation of faculty performance.
• Regularly meet with faculty liaisons about individual 1818 course faculty and work collaboratively to support teacher professional development and academic quality.
• Coordinate the review of all new faculty applications and institutional responses, ensuring timely reviews by the respective faculty liaisons and timely communication of review results.
• Coordinate the review of all course syllabi by the respective faculty liaisons, and the timely communication of review results.
• Maintain disciplinary 1818 records on behalf of the respective faculty liaisons; contribute to efforts to improve and streamline record retention and reporting methods.
• Serve as an ambassador of the 1818 Program while on site visits, including participation in information sessions for students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Participate in 1818 Office strategic planning initiatives.
• Teach one section annually of a course offered via the 1818 program by the History Department as needed (starting in the second term of employment).
• Participate in History Department events and professional development programming as directed by their respective faculty liaison(s).
Minimum Educational Requirements and Experiential Qualifications
• M.A. in History (a master's degree in a cognate discipline may be considered, per the determination of the faculty liaison and department chair)
• At least two years of full-time experience (or its equivalent) teaching collegiate-level History courses.
Preferred Educational Requirements and Experiential Qualifications
In addition to all minimum required qualifications and educational requirements noted above:
• A doctoral degree in History
• At least two years of experience supporting the administration of an academic program(s) at the collegiate level.
• Experience teaching in a dual-credit environment.
• Experience teaching at the high school level.
• At least five years of full-time experience (or its equivalent) teaching collegiate-level History courses.

Saint Louis University's Civil Engineering Program invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of environmental engineering with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2023. The program is seeking dynamic, collegial, collaborative, and creative applicants that are dedicated to performing ground-breaking, externally-funded research in the field of... environmental engineering with the potential to build an exceptional national/international research reputation. Each of our 3+2 program students also graduate with a concentration in Interprofessional Practice.
The University is a Carnegie Research University (high research activity) and currently employs over 3,000 full and part-time faculty and enrolls more than 13,000 students in the graduate, professional, and undergraduate programs. The Athletic Training Program is housed in the Doisy College of Health Sciences (DoisyCollege.slu.edu). Faculty have access to classrooms and laboratories with state-of-the-art teaching and research technologies. There are presently 3 core faculty members and 2 associated faculty in the Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program, who engage in teaching, scholarship activities, and participate in service to the University, the profession, and the community.

• Current athletic training license in the United States, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands. Eligible for a MO license. BOC certification.

Position Expectations
• Implement and manage policies and procedures to ensure alignment with CAATE Accreditation standards.

Those with a master’s degree in these disciplines may be considered but only if the candidate can demonstrate extensive industry experience and certifications.
Candidates will teach up to eight graduate-level courses across two modalities: online and on-campus. Although this is primarily a teaching position with minimal or no research expectations, active researchers and those with grants may be eligible for a reduction in teaching load. Additional expectations include service to the program, the School for Professional Studies, and Saint Louis University as assigned by the Director of Analytics in consultation with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
