About The Team

In this role, you’ll be part of the SmartThings Hub Platform team responsible for developing, building and deploying the software that runs on platforms within the SmartThings ecosystem. This software integrates smart home and networking protocols such as Matter, Thread, Zigbee, and Z-Wave with the SmartThings ecosystem.

About The Role

We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who’ll be responsible for the development of software for core hub application features. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle from proof-of-concept to shipping products on a project of enormous scale and potential. This group provides a unique experience to write application and test code in C/C++/Rust, incorporate bleeding-edge internal and third party libraries into the OS, support hub-to-cloud infrastructure, and allow opportunities to work on other frameworks that span cloud and mobile. You will debug and fix issues discovered internally, reported by external beta testers and regular users.

About The Team

SmartThings is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Solutions & Services, Product Management team, which is responsible for a variety of services (including Energy, Smart Buildings, Smart Home Security/Monitoring) as well as Strategic Partnerships. In this role you will have a wide range of responsibilities but also an incredible opportunity to shape the next phase of the SmartThings product and partner offerings. As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams as you manage the product development lifecycle for various user facing products.
