Hello! Thank you for your interest and commitment to this project! Please pay careful attention to the details and specific task requirements outlined below in the terms of your agreement... Thank you for your interest and commitment to this project! Please pay careful attention to the details and specific task requirements outlined below in the terms of your agreement...

Summary

You will receive the $250 payment upon acceptance of at least two fully-edited images of each location on our list — two images of each tour stop, and at least six miscellaneous photos of various spooky or eerie appearing items in the general area (e.g. statues, cemeteries, etc.). The total amount of usable photos will be 24-30 photos.

Once you sign the contract and NDA, we will send you the list of tour stops (since this is a walking tour, all locations are grouped close together in a 1 to 1.5-mile loop).

You will have 14 days to complete the project once you’ve received the locations list. If you have a problem meeting the deadline, please let us know ASAP and we will work something out!

Photos must be uploaded to our dropbox folder, and file names must correspond to the location (name of spot, misc. photo, or meeting point). You will be paid via PayPal (or the electronic payment method of your choice, so long as you are able to send an invoice).

Details

You will be responsible for the photography of the tour route and nearby “creepy” imagery. This is the style we’re looking for: https://trigphotography.smugmug.com/Haunted-Locations?fbclid=IwAR3eXo1dlh56L4LcgIjcaHIXd9LipqW\_tmefgietODEB0dIyRCE6maO3JNg

We have some from Atlantic City that are outstanding (please see the video below as well for editing tips).

Images should be:
• Clean and professional, delivering an eerie, creepy vibe;
• taken in darkness (not during the golden hour or at twilight);
• eye-catching, highlighting the spookiest or most historic aspects of the building (wide angle images or photos taken from a lower level looking up at the structure are preferred as it gives an ominous feel).
• carefully edited (adding lightning, storm clouds, ghosts, etc. is a bonus!)
• Do not distract from a great photo (see below) with car lights or other streaks of lights and orbs. The photo below is a great photo with the sky and the angle; however, the streaks of light should not be in the photo:

Image file names should follow this formula: Name-of-Building-Name-of-Tour (e.g. Walker-Building-Salt-Lake-Ghosts)

All images must be landscape 1920 x 1080 pixels (1000 pixels or more on the longest side) as they will be uploaded to travel websites that require landscape photos.

Here is the process used to add color and “spooky” elements in post-production:

Miscellaneous “Spooky” Images: We need to see images of extra elements around the area. They do not necessarily have to be on the tour route. Statues, alleyways, spooky trees, eerier stairwells, and graveyards are prime examples of additional spooky elements. See above and below:

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns. If you understand and agree to everything listed above, we’ll send you the contract and NDA.

We can't wait to see what you create! – US Ghost Adventures Team
