You will be responsible for overseeing the people, processes and budget and delivering both short and long term priorities and plans. You will be a trusted partner to the Founder and CEO, along with the rest of the executive team, responsible for setting the culture and scalability of our operations, while ensuring that our operational objectives are customer-focused and not short-sighted. We are looking for someone who will help their team improve the efficiency of our operations, enable us to consistently meet our SLAs, while communicating efficiently, accurately, and effectively with customers, partners, and other leaders at the Company. Importantly, we are looking for a people first leader who drives a positive, productive and collaborative culture. You will drive the strategic and operational processes of the distribution centers and will provide hands-on leadership and direction of all functions of Caroo's operation including warehouse, pick/pack/ship, and logistics management. To be successful in this role, one must build, maintain, and continuously improve an infrastructure that includes inventory control, warehouse, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction while also improving profitability over time (while also understanding when it's time to drive margin accretion and when it's not). You will be focused on e-commerce supply chain/operations development and scale for a multi-brand, multi-category, and B2B2C business to support explosive revenue growth through customer satisfaction. Ideally, you will also have experience launching new warehouses - both 3PL and own fulfillment - and will enjoy the challenge of scaling our fulfillment capabilities nationally and globally. We are looking for a customer-focused leader who is adept at leading change in organizations at various stages of maturity, from early stage start-up to over $50M in revenue (ideally $100M). The right leader will be transformative with exceptional operational skills and aptitude to lead organizational growth at scale through both activities and outcomes. We are passionate about experimenting and making data-driven decisions, so you must be too. Ideally, you will have experience with technology and systems so that you can propose, evangelize, and lead tech-driven initiatives to transform our operations. And you must be customer obsessed and understand how to design an operational system that maximizes customer retention (arguably the companies most important metric) What You'll Do:
Collaborate with the CEO & Leadership to set and drive organizational vision, operational strategy, and companywide strategic growth initiatives. Design and execute operational plans and processes that will maximize capacity, quality, safety & customer satisfaction. Direct the course of operations and coordinate operations functions and processes aligned with business goals. Warehouse & inventory management at both the strategic (scale) and tactical levels Monitor daily performance of all operations and management by taking action to maintain operational compliance with all company procedures, cost control objectives, and SLAs. Partner with leadership in Customer Experience and Sales to drive performance and customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle (and knowing when to push for efficiencies vs increased customer satisfaction). Establish KPIs and metrics to track and report on performance of processes and transform data into actionable insights and recommendations. Manage and drive improvements to the P&L. Who You Are:

years managing and leading logistics & supply chain operations. Deep experience in delivering solutions that lead to improvements in both customer experience/satisfaction and operational efficiencies. A culture-focused leader and manager who has demonstrated success growing/building teams (at both minimum wage and leadership levels) at companies that have experienced exponential revenue growth. A demonstrated track record of implementing the appropriate systems, organizational structures, and processes to scale, achieve the organizations KPIs; an expert collaborator and communicator that delivers results. Organized, self-motivated with a true entrepreneurial spirit, willing to do more with less, and able to creatively problem-solve. Proven record of tech-focused optimization in sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution. In-depth knowledge of e-commerce and fulfillment operations including experience with high transaction operations and excellent skill in areas of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management with an emphasis on customer service. Experience managing 3PL optimization, transition & expansion, and deep experience with warehouse management and launching in new geographies. Comfortable & experienced with shipping volume of 100K
monthly shipments across multiple warehouses. Comfortable & experienced with custom kitting at scale (i.e. 50K custom/personalized packages per month). Experienced executing excellently with both perishable and non-perishable products. Experience scaling Pick & Pack and Just-In-Time fulfillment. Expertise in both drop-shipping/marketplace fulfillment and owned inventory Experience with Supply Chain Systems, including but not limited to ERP systems (Netsuite), and Supply Chain visibility tools.
