We’re looking for a Product minded Interface Designer, Monetization to join Snap Inc.
What You’ll Do
• Create new and innovative solutions for businesses
• Own every aspect of the design process through ideation, definition, exploration, and execution.
• Craft above and beyond design solutions that fulfills users’ needs while accounting for technical feasibility.
• Conceive of innovative new strategies for the Monetization Business
• Identify the needs of advertisers and innovate our product offering to deliver stronger ROI
• Help define the short and long-term roadmap for monetization at Snapchat
• Regularly give and receive feedback on designs decisions across many business design projects in addition to monetization
• Gather and evaluate user requirements and behavior

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• An expert communicator who can effectively communicate a design and vision through text, speech, and imagery
• Ability to prototype interactive experiences
• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy
• Strong visual design skills and passion for interaction design
• A creative problem solver who has lots of ideas and sees solutions when most would not
• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment
• Ability to plan data-driven design experiments and conduct A/B tests to discover the right UX iteratively.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability toward the products
Minimum Qualifications
• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of work experience
• 6+ years of UX/product design experience for web or desktop applications
Preferred Qualifications
• Highly proficient in Figma, Principle, or similar tools
• A strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Experience working on Enterprise products
• Expertise in Systems Design
• Proven track record of shipping high quality products

Compensation:
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $205,000 - $295,000 annually
• Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $195,000 - $280,000 annually
• Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $174,000 - $251,000 annually
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current SNAP policies and procedures
• Inform clients on food and non-food assistance resources available in Connecticut
• Complete necessary documentation and required client follow-up
• Support various office functions to strengthen the efficiency of the SNAP Outreach program
• Complete accurate documentation, including client records, data entry and required reporting
• Update the program’s promotional materials and follow-up documents with current information
• Assist with volunteer schedules and volunteer training materials

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field; or 5 years’ experience in related field
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required - additional languages a plus
• Prior experience with SNAP or similar government regulated benefits programs

• Ability to relate effectively with other staff, volunteers, community partners and the general public
• Strong attention to detail, comfort with data collection and commitment to accuracy is essential
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and handle difficult or complex situations with tact and kindness
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written, and telephone communication skills
