The Soundstripe team is looking for a business-focused data scientist to organize, manage and interpret the data flowing from our rapidly growing subscription and transactional e-commerce business into actionable... insights. In this role, you will own data for the company, analyzing data from various sources and extracting insights to guide business decisions for multiple departments, including marketing, product and business operations. This role reports directly to Soundstripe's Vice President of Finance. Responsibilities Perform in-depth analysis of company's business data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as subscriber growth, LTV and retention Distill complex data and relationships into clear, concise charts and visualizations, both manually in Excel/Sheets for ad hoc needs and in visualization tools for more regular reports Develop management reports and dashboards for stakeholders across all business functions:
marketing, product, technology, operations Contribute insight to strategic and tactical decisions that impact our ability to optimize business operations through data, including the analytics configurations in our marketing channels/media, CRM and product experience Provide insights into our customer base, including thoughtful analysis by cohort (e.g., tenure, segment, geography, marketing channel) Ability to query and extract needed data directly using SQL and process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis Contribute towards our analytics engineering codebase and be an active participant within the team of building the best data science workflow Who will love this job A strategic partner. Responsibilities

As our first Director of Corporate Sales, you will join an existing team of two experienced sales executives to build out our sales strategy and process, with the goal to grow revenue by accelerating lead generation, increasing closed/won ratios, driving ACVs to new highs and delighting customers.

To achieve this, you will need to:
• Act as both a player and coach, mentoring and guiding our sales team while contributing personally to annual revenue targets through your own sales efforts

• Refine and advance our outbound sales tactics, including how we best identify, approach and nurture target accounts
• Build an understanding of music sync licensing market and music copyright concepts, as shaped by copyright law and influenced by current market dynamics

Qualifications

Our ideal Director of Corporate Sales will embrace an overall collaborative sales approach, support our Core Values and bring the following to the table:
• 6 years experience in SaaS sales, with at least 2 years experience managing sales reps
• Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Genuine curiosity, strong listening skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a readiness to tackle undefined problems and passion for crafting solutions
• Strong background in sales automation tactics and workflows
• Experience building and/or evolving go-to-market motions and documentation (i.e., playbook), including defining target customers and mapping effective strategies for messaging and supporting collateral
