1. Installs and maintains hardware systems at a high level for students, faculty, and staff to ensure technology resources are properly functioning.

2. Performs advanced repairs and troubleshooting of technology issues at the sites and remotely, to ensure problems are resolved timely.

3. Provides advanced support for the installation, configuration, maintenance of hardware and software for desktops, laptops, wireless and cellular devices, Windows-based servers, peripherals, videoconferencing, LANs, WANs and digital media.

4. Provides advanced support at all facilities including classrooms, offices, clinics, videoconferencing classrooms, and all university locations on campus or off, as required.

Subject to Grant Funding?: No Essential Job Functions: 1. Leads the planning and implementation of a strategic development plan in collaboration with the management.

2. Prepares annually a Strategic Fundraising Plan that establishes the goals and development initiatives to be accomplished.

3. Takes the lead in developing the case for support for University major giving priorities; effectively communicates the overall University case for support; and, articulates the impact of philanthropic gifts at all levels.

4. Manages and advances a portfolio of approximately 150 prospects each year.

5. Conducts an average of 150 meaningful, face-to-face prospect visits per year.

6. Maintains current, accurate Prospect Management reports, including:
a. Strategic action reports. b. Prospect pipeline. c. Prospect status. d. Prospect list.

7. Follows policies and provides assistance in order to adequately manage the database and all records, files, and gift processing, including donor stewardship and gift acknowledgments. Plays a major role in updating biographical and business information on assigned constituents.

8. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Marginal Job Functions: 1. Works cooperatively and collaboratively with faculty and staff members.

2. Represents the Division and the University at activities as needed.

3. Upon approval, participates in committees, as requested.

4. Creates office systems to support all processes and procedures for project operations. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Demonstrated experience and understanding of development strategies and alumni relations, particularly major gift development.

2. Ability to independently organize and schedule appointments to assure that targets for the number of personal visits and/or personal contacts are met each month.

3. Ability to communicate effectively as evidenced by clarity and conciseness of oral and written presentations.

4. Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with others.

5. Computer experience including Internet research, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point, Windows and relational database experience. Familiarity with Banner software a plus.

6. Ability to travel locally, regionally, and in assigned geographic territory as well as to other off-site locations as requested.

7. Comfort level working in a team-oriented environment; ability to work with teams of volunteers and staff.

8. Must be disciplined, detailed and result-oriented.

9. Must be highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. POSITION SUMMARY

The Graduate Enrollment Counselor is responsible for the admission process, enrollment strategy, and growth of select graduate programs and online or evening programming at Southeastern University.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the program directors to implement marketing, recruitment and prospecting designed to drive enrollments for adult and select graduate program(s).

Develop continuing relationships with appropriate constituent contacts.

Advise prospective, new, and continuing students regarding admissions, program(s), and course requirements.

Maintain regular communication with data processing or SalesForce on applicant information.

Assist the program directors and the marketing department in developing and implementing recruiting outreach strategies.

Maintain regular communication and provide direction to the marketing team, in regards to new program needs and changes. This includes marketing in the form of printed materials, electronic, and event(s) presence/staffing.

Lead targeted efforts and communication with prospective students for respective programs.

Maintain ongoing and persistent communication with the program directors in regards to new programs or changes to existing programs.

Collaborate with the marketing department in design, implementation, and distribution of marketing materials.

Communicate and liaison information between marketing and academics regarding types of delivery and/or program changes.

Partner with colleges, chairs, and faculty to gather lists of events to attend relating to respective programs.

Gather leads and actively convert them through the enrollment funnel.

Generate ideas and make recommendations for the development of degree programs, recruitment, and retention messages and materials.

Organize and host recruitment events as needed pertaining to respective assigned programs.

Possess a thorough knowledge of program offerings and be able to provide counsel to prospective students in order to accurately inform decision-making.

Maintain current knowledge of all curricula and requirements for the graduate and adult program(s).

Provide excellent customer service.

Prepare and contribute to prospect/application conversion and recruitment/operations area statistical reports on a daily/regular basis.

Assist program directors with recruitment tracking and prospect management efforts to determine marketing and recruitment strategy effectiveness.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

Sales training and experience.

Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.

Admissions/Enrollment or related field experience.

Strong desire & commitment to Christian higher education.
