• Processes all components of the billing process, including insurance validation, claim edit list, claims, and re-submissions by using the TIMS database system daily.
• Validates insurance claims by running a daily Validation Report from the TIMS system or DIVER list and completes missing data by referring to the original Customer Service Representative’s paperwork.
• Processes a claim edit list weekly from the TIMS system; reviews the list for accuracy and completeness, including social security number and date of birth and quantities of product billed and corrects missing/incorrect information in TIMS system claims file.
• Verifies the appropriate use of modifiers.
• Prints out claims for mailing or electronically sends claim file to payor.
• If a claim is returned or rejected on a payment voucher because of insufficient information, corrects and resubmits claim within 30 days. Documents action in claim file.
• Uses DIVER database system to recover lost claims for resubmission to payor on weekly basis.
• Assists insurance companies or customers with billing questions, inquiries, explanations and provides additional information in writing, if necessary. Documents all conversations and actions taken in TIMS Notes System.
• Works closely with Documentation Specialist for outstanding Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN’s). Communicates when documents are still needed.
• Works with QA Specialist for initial or recert authorizations as required by each insurance.
• Adheres to Corporate Compliance Policies including but not limited to current Medicare/CMS regulations.

We are offering a 1-Year, Full-time Data and Analytics Internship for a bright, motivated, resourceful person (can be current or recent college graduate) looking to learn the ins and outs of the Startup, AI, and Sports worlds.

You will work closely with the company’s serial-entrepreneur CEO & Core Team to create and execute the company’s analytics strategy using Tableau and other tools. You will:
• Strategize with core team members to develop the company’s overall approach to gathering analytics and using to optimize the company’s app and business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
• Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize complex user data and trends.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and key insights that can inform strategic decisions.
• Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in data analytics and data visualization.

This internship is a 12 month position and requires 40 hours per week with potential for hire based on performance and upon successful completion.

Person sought must:
• Be a graduate of a reputable 4-year college, with either computer or data-related degree and/or experience
• Have the ability to program in Python
• Experience in TensorFlow highly preferred
• Have high level of ability with Tableau
• Be able to work an 8 hour work day (40 hours per week) for one year.
• Be uber-productive, able to switch between different kinds of tasks, and comfortable taking on all jobs complex or mundane.
• Ideally has experience with SQL queries | Python | Data Warehousing.
• Ideally has experience working with Braze or other customer engagement platforms.
• Be very detail-oriented and thoughtful when executing a task or initiative
• Be able to figure out how things work, or how to get things done when a solution isn’t obvious or involves multiple steps or tools

Job Description

General Purpose of Job:

Assists in the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of Behavioral Health patient care as assigned by the RN. The Psychiatric Technician works under the supervision of a RN and the direction of a RN, LPN, Lead Psych Tech, and other licensed professionals.

Essential Duties:

This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Associates may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
• Provides basic and technical care to patients as directed by a RN.
• Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationships with individual patients.
• Documents care given and patient response in patient record.
• In coordination with unit staff, plans, participates and/or leads structured patient activities.
• Provides a safe and therapeutic milieu for patients by preventing patients from harming themselves or others.
• Communicates significant information and changes in inpatient condition to the RN.
• In coordination with the RN, provides education to patients and their families.
• Maintains hospital standards by participating in mandatory in-services and mandatory hospital departmental requirement.
• Assist the lead tech with orientation/training and acts as role model for new and per diem psychiatric technicians.

Job Requirements

General Requirements

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification within sixty (60) days of hire and maintain throughout employment. • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within thirty (30) days of hire or prior to completion of orientation and maintain throughout employment.

Work Experience

• Preferred: patient care experience in behavioral health

Education

• Associate's Degree in a behavioral health or related field; OR High School Diploma or GED and minimum two (2) years of direct patient care experience. • Recipient Rights training with 30 days of hire and annually thereafter. • Corporate Compliance training with 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• Interpersonal skills to effectively and appropriately communicate with patients, families, physicians and other hospital associates.
