In this role, you will be responsible for designing validated, user-centered experiences that align with business goals and user needs. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify design problems and create elegant solutions
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions
• Collaborate across design, engineering, and product teams to understand technical and business requirements and ensure the design is feasible. Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
• 3+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process. FinTech knowledge/experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Experience utilizing various user research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing), and translating insights from research to your designs
• Strong critical and design thinking skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and identify/prioritize problems to be tackled based on project needs and timelines
• Understanding of design systems and component-based design
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with developers

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

Summary
This position provides support and guidance to a strategic data lifecycle technology program regarding best practice, regulatory and legal compliance related to information security/IT. This role provides oversight and management of technology controls, tracks and manages technology risk, and provides support to the project. The successful candidate has a sophisticated understanding of application security, infrastructure and cloud technology.
The position will provide support to the program as the program develops. General Job Duties
• Document security/technology control requirements for the strategic data lifecycle technology program, using current control environment to the extent possible.
• Develop methods to meet new cyber security and compliance needs and requirements as needed.

• Ensure that training and coaching programs are developed, implemented and effective for targeted staff to understand and support the control environment.

Summary
This position provides support and guidance to a strategic data lifecycle technology program regarding best practice, regulatory and legal compliance related to information security/IT. This role provides oversight and management of technology controls, tracks and manages technology risk, and provides support to the project. The successful candidate has a sophisticated understanding of application security, infrastructure and cloud technology.
The position will provide support to the program as the program develops. The successful candidate will work closely between the Market Intelligence Platforms and Channels group and other groups involved in the project through all project stages (anticipated to be multi-year) to ensure appropriate security controls are designed and implemented.
In addition, the candidate will function as a senior member of the MI Cyber Risk and Compliance team and assist with other MI security risk and compliance activities. The candidate may provide guidance to team members to enhance their growth, suggest and implement process improvements, contribute to risk and compliance management activities, and other responsibilities as assigned by management.
General Job Duties
• Document security/technology control requirements for the strategic data lifecycle technology program, using current control environment to the extent possible.
• Develop methods to meet new cyber security and compliance needs and requirements as needed.
• Drive/contribute to the development and implementation of short term and long term plans to continue the maturation of a compliant environment.
• Ensure that training and coaching programs are developed, implemented and effective for targeted staff to understand and support the control environment.
• Assist with establishing and implementing any needed policies and procedures that achieve the directives and strategies set by the project.
• Function as a strong contributor to the MI Cyber Risk and Compliance team, participating in special projects and task forces as required. Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values, philosophy and culture of the organization.
• Perform other duties as required.
Specific Job Duties
• Manage data lifecycle technology program cyber security and compliance control initiatives.
• Coordinate compliance and audit activities with other groups within MI and centralized services.
• Develop and provide knowledge, knowledge resources, and guidance to MI staff regarding control activities.
• Identify process gaps and facilitate improvements by working across groups and other departments.
• Work with the control process owners to ensure that they have remediation plans and target dates for completion in order to remediate exceptions in a timely fashion. Manage remediation processes for exceptions/findings and process issues.
• Establish relationships and interact with all levels within multiple groups to ensure compliance activities are understood and completed appropriately.
• Perform various control assessments as required to test compliance capabilities for various processes and systems.
• Assist in maintaining compliance documentation including policies, standards, and procedures, reports, etc.
• Undertake additional work as directed.

• Work with the teams responsible for building out portfolio analysis capabilities supporting ESG datasets, integrating ESG into key workflow tools including search, screening, visualizations, dashboards, alerting, scenario models.
• Coordinate with our Data Management Services delivery channels including feeds, cloud-based deliveries, and APIs.
• Work closely with the vertical Product Line teams (ESG, Climate, Impact) to build out a world class user experience that maximizes user adoption and facilitates clients’ ESG integration into their workflows.
• Engage with client facing teams and end users on the client side to understand workflows, business problems to test concepts and features.
• Understand and identify opportunities to integrate technology / platforms where synergies exist or partnership/acquisition opportunities with 3rd party technology or software providers.
• Participate in projects to integrate existing and new capabilities with the broader set of S&P Global’s assets, collaborate across the divisions to maximize our positioning in the market, and provide world-class client service to our customers.
• The product manager role will be responsible for supporting commercial teams by leading go-to-market planning and execution of activities including release communication, training, sales support; work with marketing on sales collateral and client communications; post launch tracking and reporting of product performance KPIs (usage, sales performance, client platform migration progress).
What We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 6+ years of Product Management/Development experience within the financial industry and or sustainability industry
• Experience working within the Agile framework
• Natural curiosity about our products and market trends and how we can serve them
• Experience with ESG market: market needs, competitive landscape, methodologies, regulatory landscape and market trends
• Tech savvy – understand latest technologies for desktop and feed product development
• Ability to influence, negotiate and build trust (SPGI leadership and across S&P Divisions); must be strong communicator
• Self-starter that can work independently with little supervision
• Juggle multiple projects
• Capable of building out and influencing a network of partners and resources from existing pool of talent in and outside ESG teams.
• Presentation skills (both in spoken and written formats), e.g. strategic plan development, strong PowerPoint skills, client interaction skills, training, business / financial analysis & reporting
• Command respect with senior audiences both internal and external
• Collaboration across global teams and with multiple functional roles including technology, data & content operations, client services
• Experience with Regulatory Reporting in the financial services space
