What you’ll do:
• Design a variety of projects including web experiences, video graphics, content-led sub-brands and initiatives, and social-first franchises that celebrate the people and stories at the heart of our brand.
• Understand and apply the Splice identity and brand system correctly to all projects, and support team members throughout the company in doing the same.
• Develop creative and engaging visuals to communicate our constantly evolving ecosystem of products and features.
• Collaborate with creative and editorial teams, as well as others, to ensure successful implementation of your work from beginning to end.

What we’re looking for:
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience, whether in-house or at an agency.
• Ability to adapt design systems across multiple platforms.
• Experience collaborating with other designers, photographers, and creatives.
• Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to storyboard, wireframe, and sketch ideas to effectively communicate your concepts to your collaborators.

The team is looking for a data analyst to help add structure to hard questions, develop actionable insights and recommendations in support of large strategic business initiatives, forecast the impact of given projects, and empower their team of musicians to marry their creativity with data. This position is fully remote, based in the US, and reports to the VP, Content.

What you’ll do:
• Engage with the Content and XFN leadership teams to understand business strategy, questions, and goals.
• Bring structure to sometimes ambiguous creative questions.
• Provide tactical and strategic guidance to peers.
• Perform analyses of historical data as needed to surface trends and insights.
• Rigorously document and evangelize your work.
• Develop, own, and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes.
• Prepare and deliver expert-level visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions.
• Monitor team KPIs and socialize them across the team and the greater organization on a regular basis.
• Build business cases for increased tracking with technical teams.
• Work with our team of creatives to translate learnings into action.
• Build forecasting models driven by customer behavior, then recommend actions to meet goals.

What we’re looking for:
• Adept at presenting information with narrative.
• Proficient in Looker.
• Five (5) years of experience in a related role.
• Experience partnering with technical teams to drive business impact (i.e., PMs, Data Scientists).
• Optimism.
• You don’t mind working through complicated scenarios with no clear path toward a finish line.
• You communicate with confidence, poise, and prioritize authentic connections with colleagues.
• Ideally, someone who understands music production or loves music.

In accordance with New York law, the salary range for this role if filled within New York is $102,500 - $127,500. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Job Description
• Leads and coordinates performance engineering for large initiatives spanning multiple projects and/or systems.
• Collect and document expected system performance and operational characteristics.
• Collect and/or prepare test data for test execution.
• Develop and execute performance tests including load, stress, endurance, fail-over and interoperability.
• Conduct technical analysis of performance test results and production systems, and provide recommendations on performance tuning, systems, and infrastructure.
• Identify, report, and review defects in assessing system performance and stability.
• Create reports to document performance metrics, test results, analysis and recommendations.
• Monitor performance of production systems.
• Leads peer reviews to ensure the completeness of all test assets created.
• Understand and follow all applicable SDLC and performance engineering processes.
• Leads performance defect triage and determines cross-system impact.
• Plan and coordinate performance engineering efforts in support of key initiatives including work plan and project schedule.
• Determine level of effort and resource requirements for customer engagements.
• Review and offer guidance for test scripting and recommend use of appropriate technical tool to produce correct result output.
• Ensure accuracy of test scripts and take corrective action to product accurate and valid test results.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure complete understanding of performance and operational requirements.
• Prepare Master Performance Test Strategy and ensures long term strategy can be accomplished for the application.
• Prepare capacity analysis when applicable.
• Review architectural design for performance risks and potential issues.
• Evaluate performance characteristics of new technologies.
• Lead improvement of the performance engineer process in the SDLC.
• Lead resolution of production performance and stability issues.
• Identifies training and tool needs for team.
• Coaches and mentors project team members.

Qualifications
• Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
• 10 years of performance engineering and performance testing experience and/or leading performance engineering efforts at across multiple system;
• or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
