As the Manager, you will be responsible for communications and public relations work that elevates the FOX Sports brand narrative connected to sports-driven content, live events, and initiatives across FOX Sports' linear, digital and social platforms. Specific focus will include entertainment, original films/documentaries, brand marketing, digital/social, as well as management of industry conferences and awards, all of which amplify key sport moments that help create a comprehensive picture and diversified voice for the FOX Sports brand. Strong relationships with entertainment, sports and digital media will be necessary for success. This position provides primary support to the SVP, Brand Communications. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Connecting and communicating with outside voices, media, and other influencers to raise the profile of FOX Sports, its programming, executives and talent - pitching/garnering press coverage, securing speaking opportunities and conference participation to raise brand awareness Create and execute strategic communications plans and craft forward-thinking messaging and strategic work in support of the company's businesses initiatives Collaborate and work closely with agencies to bring a new and interesting creative spirit to the brand Liaising with internal counterparts - peer level and above - helping to assess the PR value of initiatives/work from various departments and communicate the role and strategy of the Communications/PR functional group (and brand communications team, specifically) on various projects Oversee preparation of company-related events, such as campaign launches, press conferences, premiere screenings/red carpets, and photo shoots Liaise with FOX Sports talent and executives ably on a continuous basis and where relevant for collaboration on key storytelling opportunities WHAT YOU WILL NEED 3
years in public relations with established track record managing large communications projects Experience dealing with senior executives, on-air personalities as well as current and former athletes/coaches Outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills Solid problem-solving ability with persuasive skills in managing people and situations in fast-paced environments High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially PowerPoint and/or Keynote Ability to travel as needed (mostly domestic, but possible international) Commitment to constant relationship-building and making new connections for the brand Creative writing, editing and social media skills NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER Bachelor's degree or advanced degree Sports experience

$80K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
