Position Summary:
The Claims Examiner will act as a liaison between client, employee and healthcare provider. In this position, you are responsible for applying appropriate claims management by providing reliable and responsive service to claimants and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Skills:
Sustainability Technical Specialist, Net Zero Standards Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing and proposed GHG accounting and voluntary corporate claim standards to assess impacts to Meta’s Net Zero goals with a focus on carbon markets and Scope 3 emissions
• Advise internal stakeholders to adapt and modify key components of the Net Zero program based on the development of external standard landscape
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the development of Meta’s positions on GHG measurement, accounting, market-based climate finance, and carbon market standards, and to work with team to promote these positions externally
• Coordinate external engagements to develop and reform accounting protocols and standards to ensure voluntary corporate mitigation actions are maximized and recognized
• Serve as Meta’s representative externally on standards partnerships and engagements
• Ability to travel (10%)
Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in environmental science, business or related field
• 12+ years of experience in fields related to environmental standards, carbon markets and/or sustainability
• Expertise in carbon markets, project-based accounting, GHG accounting and voluntary corporate climate claims
• Experience playing coordinating/leadership role in building sustainability partnerships and coalitions with NGOs and corporations
• Experience influencing, creating and driving strategic impact, engagement and communication
• Flexible, entrepreneurial spirit with experience influencing across an organization with indirect authority
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal interdisciplinary teams as well as external stakeholders
• A self-starter, with experience diplomatically resolving issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions
• Understanding of global and sectoral sustainability initiatives
• Proven communications skills
