The Interactive Design team develops digital-first creative and translates campaign concepts into a digital world.

The Interactive Designer, Digital Production in the Starz Interactive team is a designer of lower-funnel design production. This role will focus on international design projects, but will also support our domestic efforts as needed. You roll with the changes and challenge yourself to lift revisions beyond what is expected. You thrive in designing for small spaces, with a goal of design excellence. You are comfortable going to your senior colleagues and asking if there is a better way, always eager to learn. You sweat the small details of correct color, balance, and editorial. You have experience with production documentation and standards. You don’t just design to grab attention, you design for a refined brand and understand what it means to tell a visual story.

Responsibilities

Partners with the Interactive Design Director to translate series and brand campaigns for interactive and digital creative
Partners with the Art Director and senior designers to excel the visual excellence and consistency of our assets across all digital placements
Participate in the day-to-day production of international and domestic creative marketing assets (ex. platform images, digital banners, social, websites, newsletters and emails, etc.), be it through hands-on design or production
Interpret and translate strategic needs into best in class creative and design solutions
Shepard the brand throughout all creative executions
Produce to Brand, designing formats and appropriately maturing executions over time
Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, balancing a heavy production workload alongside creative development
Can work with alternate time zones, as needed for international customers
Stay on top of industry trends, in design, technology, and execution
Responds to analytical data to create or pivot the creation of targeted marketing materials

Qualification & Skills

3-5+ years of digital design experience in a studio, network, or creative agency
1-3 years of experience managing a creative execution
Portfolio of digital design examples
Time-management, collaboration, and communication skills
Strong knowledge of Interactive design systems and software
Strong understanding of Social creative best practices
Strong understanding of animation software and best practices
An amazing attention to detail
An understanding of Direct Response creative best practices
Experience with Workfront, Photography, HTML, CSS, UI, and UX design

Summary of Position

The Manager, Digital Marketing Brand will manage the development and execution of high profile, integrated social media campaigns for STARZ brand and Take the Lead channels. • Work closely/collaborate with the services development team, manual testers, client engineering and QA teams to troubleshoot & resolve issues in production and lower-level environments.
• Assist with onboarding new team members through knowledge sharing, when applicable.
• Flexibility to work extended hours / weekends when needed.

Qualifications & Skills
• BS degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 3+ years working directly as a member of a technical team, preferably managing priorities and releases.
• Strong comprehension of API’s, Web Services, SOAP, REST.
• Firsthand use of development tools including JIRA, Bamboo, SoapUI, Postman.
• Experience with cloud environment/technologies (AWS S3, Lambdas, EBS).
• Ability and willingness to self-motivate and prioritize in what may be a chaotic environment at times, all with a positive, team player attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with logging tools such as Splunk a plus
