Purpose of the Role:
The Demand Planner leads the monthly forecasting cycle and is responsible for accurately forecasting demand by leveraging TPM tool, consumption and shipment data with insights into customer on-hands and weeks of supply. Supports managing inventory levels and deployment to... optimize supply chain efficiencies and meet annual sales and profit objectives. Requires deep collaboration and communication across Customer Development (i.e. sales), marketing, and operations to ensure accurate and quality forecasts contributing to the effective execution of YU/Stash’s Sales Go-To-Market strategies.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an accurate 12 month rolling demand forecast for all products, incorporating historical sales trends, market analysis, and input from Customer Development (CD) and marketing teams
Collaborate with the Customer Development team to understand customer needs, promotional activities, and distribution changes to refine and update forecasts
Utilize TPM (i.e. Exceedra) and forecasting tools to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency
Partner with the operations team to align demand forecasts with supply planning, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
Analyze and report on forecast accuracy, identifying variances between forecasts and actual sales, and adjust plans accordingly.
Log and track impactors (i.e. up & down drivers) to forecast including risk and opportunities
Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations on monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts

Requirements:

University Degree (BA/BS), Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related field

Expertise in leveraging, interpreting, and utilizing consumption data (i.e. IRI)

Physical Requirements:
For the role of Demand Planner Manager, the physical requirements are generally minimal due to the home office/remote based nature of the job. However, some physical demands may include:
