Our Buying department is currently searching for a Buyer's Assistant for Bikes. This Buyer Assistant is responsible for supporting the Bike buying department with the day to day management and development of business processes to maximize sales and gross margin objectives, while managing inventory objectives for specific brands. The Buyer Assistant for Bikes will also be responsible for managing all Bike Shop Requisition Orders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate smooth operation between 33 store and vendors for all Special Orders for non-stock items.
• Manage all Bike Shop Requisition orders including tracking, allocation and cost.
• Prepare special orders for the Buyers.
• Manages all communication between vendors, to stores associate on all orders placed.
• Submit, manage, and track purchase orders. Order tracking and follow up.
• Purchase order entry and maintenance of SKU information, including UPC codes, product costs, retail price and product sign requests.
• Establish and maintain official documents and records in appropriate files.
• Work directly with Store Managers and Sales Associates, supporting 33 store locations, concerning inventory needs.
• Update assigned Markdown & Sale pricing.
• Produces reports, forms, correspondence, and other materials as directed by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
• 3 years in bike/cycling sales experience. Working knowledge of bikes and bike parts.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and proven ability to create and maintain complex analysis reports in spreadsheets. (Excel Proficiency required)
• Island Pacific software experience a PLUS.
• Must have organizational and time management skills, with ability to multitask.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail a must.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with Vendors, Buyers, Store Teams, and Upper Management.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

SUMMARY
Our Sun & Ski store is seeking a driven Cashier. We are looking for candidates that have the passion and drive to be number one and to work in a team atmosphere! Here you'll help cultivate an environment that is exciting, interactive, and fun for both customers and employees! These are amazing opportunities for dynamic individuals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create a great first impression of our store to all customers by greeting them with enthusiasm and a genuine smile as they enter our store.
• Ensure you deliver exceptional Customer Service that is consistent and beyond expectations.
• Know the location of all merchandise in the store so that you can promptly and correctly direct them to the area of the store with the items they are seeking.
• Remain familiar with the merchandise carried in the store in order to answer basic customer questions.
• Know each store employee's areas of expertise to assist customers.
• Be prepared to assist on the sales floor and other areas of the store, as business needs dictate.
• Ensure that you are aware of current advertised items and specials.
• Perform all cash register/point-of-sale functions accurately and efficiently, such as: sales, returns, exchanges, credit card sales, layaways, special orders, transfer in/out, etc.
• Process all forms of payment according to policy.
• Open and close the cash register daily without need for supervision.
• Maintain an organized, clean and well stock Front Desk/Cash Wrap area.
• Answer the telephone in a polite and enthusiastic manner; then direct the call to the appropriate department or employee.
