Position Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for administering a consistent brand appearance across Xtreme Xperience’s visual channels through the hands-on production of digital and print design assets utilized throughout the organization. The Designer will work collaboratively on creative initiatives across all internal departments, while managing relationships with production vendors and continuing the evolution of our brand. The Designer needs to be creative, organized, detail-oriented and interested in cars, ideally high performance cars and/or motorsports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Executes a wide range of design projects across different brand channels to communicate a consistent brand voice utilizing and evolving our existing brand standards and guidelines.
• Produce hands-on design creative from concept to execution for campaigns, digital advertising, social media, print collateral, merchandise, event signage, vehicle and race trailer wraps, business development decks, partnership reports, vehicle graphics, etc.
• Stay current with design trends, advertising design best practices, landing page design best practices, automotive apparel trends, and more to keep our brand on the cutting edge of the automotive entertainment industry.
• Participate in brainstorms around digital advertising creative concepts
• Design and/or influence design of website landing pages
• Provide fresh designs for Xtreme Xperiences growing apparel and merchandise sales channel
• Manage file organization, communication, time management & final production throughout the creative process.
• Maintain relationships with vendors of print items for all areas of the Xtreme Xperience business. Source new print & design vendors for specific projects throughout the year, if necessary.
• Manage production against defined timelines and may take ownership of the company’s print budget.
• Travel to four tour events per year to observe the XX campus design presentation, assure brand standards are being met, strategize with leaders on potential sales initiatives, curate fresh selections of design materials and gauge the user experience through direct feedback from guests & team members.
• Collaborate with the event team to ensure branding, signage, wayfinding, and event production asset needs are met and provide guidance on proper signage use and SOPs.
• Attend workshops & trainings to continuously evolve skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years of work experience in graphic design
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Advertising or related field
• Demonstrable graphic design ability with a strong portfolio, creative mind and visual storytelling skills
• Imaginative and endlessly curious with a love for industry and cultural trends and passion for branding, art, content strategy and the power of creativity.
• Track record of delivering strategic and high-quality creative work
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint. Experience with animation is a plus.

Your direct responsibility will be to assist the Owner with event planning and coordination with the clients. You will also have general office duties supporting the front desk check-in process, reservations, inbound sales information, and other general office duties. We are an 8-year-old experience company growing year after year. There is room for advancement as we will either hire within or interview outside the company to fill a full-time Event Director position.
- This is a permanent position!- Must be reasonably close to Golden (i.e., Boulder, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Lakewood)
- Must be available to work 8 am-5 pm (On a rare occasion we have evening events)
- Must be able to work Saturdays as needed (We are closed on Sundays)
- Computer experience required.
- Photography skills a plus
- Prior sales experience and/or event planning are also desirable.
We have entertained more than 5,000 Supercar Driving Tour guests each year. Clients come from all over the world to experience one of our Supercar driving tours. Participants drive a variety of Supercars throughout their tour ranging from 15 to 105 Miles. In addition to our core business that we founded the company on, we also host and provide tours for corporate and group events. In June 2017, we opened our brand new state-of-the-art 6,000 sqft purpose-built event center 5 minutes from downtown Golden.
Who are we looking for: We are looking for someone self-motivated, smart, responsible, customer-centric people person, likes to learn, takes directions easily, has great computer skills, loves cars, and wants to have fun at work! (FACT: Our staff has fun but we all work together in a team atmosphere) - After all, we are around Supercars ALL DAY LONG! We are a fun, like-minded team; your personality must fit with our culture. We need you to be an energetic, fun person too! After every peak season, we go off on a weekend retreat as a team. In the past 3 years, the staff earned an all-expense-paid trip to the Formula 1 USGP in Austin, Texas. It's pretty incredible!
What will you be doing: This position has many responsibilities, so you need to be open-minded and willing to do whatever needs to be done. You will have a major focus on front office duties and keeping the team on track throughout the day. - Phones, checking people in, selling services, booking reservations, social media, assisting the owner, etc. We really need someone willing to do anything required of them when the time comes, can problem solve, and think quickly on their feet (in a high-paced environment). When we get busy, it can be manageable chaos, and you need to be a team player! If you're the type of person that says, "no problem, I got this,". . .. You're going to be perfect for the job!

You'll need to provide a current resume that reflects all professional racing instruction experience, to include the following:
- Racing Instructor experience required
- Drift experience
- Communication skills
- Must be able to work variable shifts including week-ends
- Additional languages are a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, French)
- Mechanical skills

Work Environment
May be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable; may be exposed to hazardous equipment and/or hazardous conditions requiring the need to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hard hats; may require working in very hot or very cold temperatures; may require working under covered structure with roof but no walls; requires working outdoors exposed to all weather conditions.

Physical Demands
Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials; using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things; repeating the same physical activities or mental activities over and over, without stopping. The instructor must be able to occasionally lift and/or move 60 pounds (i.e. change a tram unit tire) and be able to work in all elements.

Instructors provide one-on-one coaching in classroom instruction/ briefing as well as instructing inside of the racing vehicle.

• Provide racing instruction and one-on-one coaching as a passenger to students/customers;
• Instruct students/customers to safely maneuver race car through the course, around the track at an accelerated rate of speed; the instructor must remain acutely aware of track conditions at all times.
• Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximizes the student/customer’s learning.
• Monitor student/customers driving abilities related to shifting gears, braking, and accelerating; coach the customer/students to execute these tasks while travelling at high speed.
• Participate in classroom briefing with... customer/students.
• Coordinate and facilitate track Discovery lap with customer/students.
• Display professional and courteous demeanor when escorting customer/students to cars.
• Maintain clean cars by wiping down as necessary.
• Check air pressure on vehicles as needed.
• Ensure that work areas are kept clean.
• Manage confidential information.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand; ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences; speak clearly so others can understand you; ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong; ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules; ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions; apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense; judge which of several objects is closer or farther away from you, or to judge the distance between you and an object; ability to see details at a distance and at close range; ability to maintain high energy level and the ability to work both independently and as a strong team member.
Instructors should have familiarity with car engines and mechanical technology; experience with racing supercars preferred. In addition to excellent driving skills, instructors should also have excellent reflexes, communication skills, vision, quick decision-making skills, and be self-motivated. Must be able to work variable shifts including weekends. Must be fluent in English; additional languages a plus. Clean driving record (verifiable by company background check) and valid driver’s license required.
