Role Summary:

The Super User ensures distribution center has the system support, processes and training required to achieve department objectives. Determine root cause of process/application issues and assists in resolving all system and process issues on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
• Trouble reporting for all outbound functions
• Trouble resolution root cause for picking/packing issues both operational and systemic
• Creation of and sending shipping reject Reports for all clients
• Assist with user set up, password resets, location set up, and putaway policies when needed)
• Assist IT and Maintenance with operational sorter issues involving trays, chutes, scanners, and system
• Point of contact for all WMS and WCS system issues and working with vendor to resolve

• Work Change Carrier (orders that need to be re-rate shopped interfaced to the WMS)

Summary

The System Business Analysts are responsible for facilitating the necessary troubleshooting on the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/ or Transportation Management System (TMS) applications as well as supporting local hardware and network troubleshooting and/ or deployment as reported by either the Technology Account Leads or Operations Team. Assists in the escalation path for the Operations Team regarding resolution of an incident.

Essential Functions
• Assist with the management of Service Now incident tickets; opening incident tickets for reported issues, escalating incidents that require resolution by the extended IT teams, and ensure tickets are closed timely.
• Document issues that are re-occurring in nature working closely with the Technology Account Leads to ensure root cause is identified and permanent fix is implemented. Proposing long term improvements to the accounts either thru; Customer Enhancements (CE), Service Requests (SR), or Continuous Customer Improvement (CCI)
• Management of the hardware and IT assets in the facility including but not limited to: Maintaining an IT Asset List, Reporting issues of devices and the management of an RMA process, Management of the CMAC asset dashboard and reporting of other issues.
• Responsible for the day to day steady state account items such as; Compare Reports, Error Managers, Interface Failures, and WMS/ TMS access.

Additional Responsibilities
• Provide the following type of support as required for the implementation of Customer Enhancements (CE), Service Requests (SR), or Continuous Customer Improvement (CCI); Testing Support (SIT and/ or UAT), end user training, and/ or assisting with the documentation of Standard Work for the IT portion.
• Attend meetings with internal and/ or external customers as need to provide the necessary support to the Technology Account Leads and Operations where applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serves as primary IT support for level one and level two issues. Coordinates with Information Technology and operations on level three issues to resolve. Ensures issues are being identified, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Serves as functional user to define site requirements for layout and design of site databases. Investigates and recommends new technologies and information systems appropriate to the site
• Supports implementations by participating in customer integrated testing and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Trains operations on use of warehouse management system (WMS) and serves as site expert on WMS logic and functionality.

• Interfaces with Operations staff to review operating procedures and maximize system efficiencies. Summary

The WMS Superuser reports to the Senior Logistics Manager and has responsibility for recommending, developing, and maintaining present and future systems that support the facilities operations, logistics, and inventory process. Also works closely with the US Team to ensure Ryder has continuity among all their warehouses.

Essential Functions
• Maintain proper slotting configuration (Rack and Pick slots) to ensure efficiency in the warehouse
• Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees
• Develop and maintain inter-related computer systems that functionally support the facility in all areas of operations including production, maintenance, warehousing, and administration.
• Provide complete training in the use of hardware and software to users of the systems
• Responsible for maintaining, trouble shooting, and improving on all interfaces of the WMS, material handling systems, RF devices, and other hardware (printers, label makers, etc.)
• Maintain JDA WMS logic – Ensure operations is satisfied with the way WMS works in: Allocating, Putaway, Replenishment, etc.
• Work with operations to streamline processes and troubleshoot and correct any system problems
• Develop and maintain system SOP’s (archiving, disaster recovery, back-up procedures, system specs, etc.)
• Complete velocity and layout analysis and associated changes as scheduled
• Maintain labor management system and provide data to site leadership as required
• Assist in monitoring workload and assess evaluation/development plans of direct reports.
• Ensure team members acquire necessary skills and performance attributes, in line with business and personal development needs. Data entry with attention to detail and accuracy entering alpha-numeric data.
