Summary:
Surfline Wavetrak is seeking a Creative Ad Solutions Manager to drive revenue growth for... advertising sales through the development of new sponsorable opportunities - primarily around custom partner content. From ideation to production and execution, this is an exciting opportunity to create and manage stories told on behalf of large brands that want to align with Surfline Wavetrak's editorial strategy, tone and voice. Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager will help Surfline grow and develop our new eCommerce business (the Surfline shop). They will be responsible for developing and executing the strategies and campaigns that help us meet our revenue goals, and play a crucial role in establishing Surfline as a leader in eCommerce. This person will also support a new line of business in the wave parks and progression space, helping to drive the launch of several new experiences and products. We are looking for a dynamic Product Marketer to become the champion of the Surfline shop and our new progression products within the marketing organization. This role will report to the Director of Product Marketing.

Under Surfline’s “Work from Anywhere” policy, this position may be performed on a full-time remote basis from a variety of locations in the US, or from the Huntington Beach, CA headquarters.
What You'll Do:
• Develop and own the execution of the Surfline shop headline calendar, working closely with product, content, design, and other cross-functional teams to come up with new and creative ideas.
• Develop and execute compelling marketing campaigns to drive traffic and revenue for the Surfline shop.
• Oversee the production of all shop campaign material including on-product, social, and advertising assets.
• Develop and own the execution of the wave parks and progression go-to-market strategy.
• Lead qualitative and quantitive research efforts for the Surfline shop and progression experiences, build user understanding and empathy, and provide the voice of customer insights to drive marketing and communications.
• Establish a culture of planning, execution, and accountability against business goals across marketing, and collaborate with team members to optimize performance.

What We're Looking For:
• Previous experience working with or at an eCommerce business.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is: $90,000 - $100,000. In accordance with applicable state laws, the range provided is Surfline's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. As Senior Manager, eCommerce Merchandising, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing the product selection and merchandising strategy for the Surfline e-commerce platform. Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of features for Surfline. You’ll be working directly with a Product Manager, Designer and handful of engineers delivering new features to Surfline across platforms. As a Senior Engineer you’ll play multiple roles, sometimes owning new features end-to-end and other times working with other Seniors on larger features. We are looking for someone with bags of initiative, a track record of project ownership and strong technical understanding across a broad range of web technologies.

Under Surfline’s “Work from Anywhere” policy, this position may be performed on a full-time remote basis from anywhere within the United Kingdom.

What You'll Do:
• Serve as the technical lead for various new features developed at Surfline.
• Full-stack web development in Javascript/Typescript using React, Redux, NodeJS and Express.
• Write efficient, clean, readable, fast, testable, documented, monitored code and systems.
• Ship code often in a fast paced agile environment with continuous deployment.
• Solve tough problems with clear and simple solutions using your innate engineering creativity.
• Work closely with other engineers in a small, tight-knit team environment.
• Contribute to the product development, mission, and success – way beyond checking off development tasks.

What We're Looking For:
• Prior experience as a leading small teams.
• Production experience with React/Next.js, JS/Typescript, Node, Microservice architectures and Docker.
• Production experience building API’s for iOS and Android apps.
• Solid understanding of AWS technologies: ECS, Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3 and Cloudfront.
• Proven ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Experience fostering a TDD culture.
• Experience working in a collaborative agile team environment.
• Strong sense of urgency and passion to improve the user experience.
• Top-notch communication skills.
• A BS/MS in Computer Science or related degree.

Surf parks promise to transform surfing by bringing reproducible waves to both coastal and inland communities. Already, surf parks have created amazing surf experiences hours from the coastline in numerous countries with dozens more at various stages of development and construction. Reproducible, high performance waves are not only proving to be a major tourism driver, but also bring a more efficient training platform to surfing, enabling more rapid progression than ever historically possible.

As Senior Manager, Wave Parks Experience - and a leader within the Wave Venues and Progression team - you will work closely with the Surfline Product, and Engineering teams, as well as all external partners, to drive the deployment of Surfline’s Digital Experience including Sessions Surf Parks platform, onsite-remote coaching and future digital offerings at surf parks globally.

Under Surfline’s “Work from Anywhere” policy, this position may be performed on a full-time remote basis from a variety of locations in the US, or from the Huntington Beach, CA headquarters.
What You'll Do:
• Oversee deployment and management of Sessions Surf Parks installations.
• Own the holistic relationship with surf parks, from the sales cycle through deployment and operations, ensuring both operator and guest satisfaction.
• Act as the lead stakeholder for product design and testing, gathering customer insights and client requirements and converting to well-defined product requirements.
• Conduct regular VOC acquisition exercises using audience surveys, user feedback, and field observations.
• Work to concept and prototype new features using a mixture of low and hi-fi methods.
• Drive pilot programs for new feature introduction at partnering parks.
• Manage the ongoing roadmap of the park experience.
• Collaborate with the VP of Wave Venues and internal-external development teams in developing and-or applying technology to unlock growth in existing and new market segments.
• Travel up to 20% to surf parks regionally and internationally as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is: $120,000 - $180,000. In accordance with applicable state laws, the range provided is Surfline's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
