The VP of Stadium Operations and Retail will be responsible for the interaction between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers... organization and the food service and retail partner(s). The VP will identify opportunities to improve and maximize fans overall customer experience at Raymond James Stadium and oversee team-related F&B and Retail operations in accordance with the concession and retail partner agreement(s). S/he will have expertise in both processes and technical innovation around the F&B function.

The VP of Stadium Operations will also be responsible for communicating to all partners the team’s vision as it relates to establishing itself as a premier venue in every aspect of customer service and fan engagement.

Core Functions:
• Operational oversight of all aspects of the relationship with food and beverage and retail partner(s), including all staffing, customer service, catering business development, training, menus, and pricing;
• Oversee the day-to-day, event-by-event communication, planning and scheduling between the food and beverage and retail partner(s) and the Tampa Sports Authority and all event tenants;
• Management of vendor relationships for all aspects of stadium retail, including game and weekday team store operations;
• Oversight of vendor relationships for online retail operations, including marketing strategy, campaign execution, and customer service;
• Management of upcoming RFP process for F&B, stadium retail and online retail;
• Analyze and report on key performance measures;
• Observe and improve game day and event food and beverage and retail operations, including speed of service, customer service, staffing, food service, presentation, and sanitation;
• Facilitate communications between Buccaneers departments and vendor relationships to align organizational goals;
• Manage team retail inventory and procurement process, including coordinating with departments for ordering;

The VP of Stadium Operations will be a dynamic, forward-thinking professional with an exceptional track record at a premier facility of scale. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, combined with the demonstrated ability to identify, using strong analytical skills, opportunities for efficiencies, and improvement to the customer experience. S/he will be adept at managing multiple stakeholders and communicating and coordinating across diverse groups.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Tampa Bay Region Executive Director will have four primary roles:
• Leadership, Metrics and Accountability
• Supervision and Support
• Donor Prospecting and Cultivation
• Church and Community Engagement

These roles break down into several responsibilities, including:
Leadership, Metrics and Accountability
• Responsible for the hiring and retention of qualified staff.
• Coaching, motivating and supporting team members.
• Meeting regional annual goals and metrics of success.
• Manage local regional budget.
• Strategic planning and problem solving.
• Data entry and reporting.
Supervision and Support
• Ensure that all Better Families policies and procedures are being implemented.
• Provide oversight and support of families being served.
• Oversight of volunteer screening and approval process.
• Accurate, complete, and timely submission of required reports.
• Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.
• De-escalation and creative problem solving in high crisis situations.
• Stepping in, when staff are unavailable and being available to team members.
• On-call to team members.
Donor Prospecting and Cultivation
• Work closely with the development team on the fundraising strategic plan.
• Prospect, engage and cultivate donors.
• Engage and support the Tampa Bay region community board.
• Meet with donors and solicit funding support.
• Assist in planning and execution of annual fundraising event.
Church and Community Engagement
• Engage community partnerships that are an appropriate fit for Better Together and will help us achieve our mission.
• Public speaking and presentations.
• Meet regularly with local government officials, the Department of Children and Families, law enforcement and other first responder organizations to engage, collaborate and enhance those partnerships.
• Research, prospect and cultivate church partnerships.

TIMING, LOCATION & COMPENSATION

Better Together seeks to fill this position as soon as possible. The job is full-time and will require work in the evenings and on weekends. In addition, the Tampa Bay Region Executive Director will be on call to their team. Better Together is headquartered in Naples, Florida, but this position must live in Pinellas, Pasco or Hillsborough county. The team works remotely, which requires a home office. Although this is a remote job, the director will spend a majority of their time in the community. The Role

The Field Assistant supports the management team by performing distribution logistics duties as assigned.

Vaccine Requirement:

Workplace safety is a value of the Tampa Bay Times . Because of this, the Times requires its staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19. New employees must be vaccinated by the first day of employment unless they secure a medical or religious exemption accommodation from the Times beforehand.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for contributing in the development of a positive contractual relationship with the independent contractors who deliver the Times’ products
• Supports the zone in meeting service goals measured as complaints per thousand deliveries
• Provides assistance with prospecting efforts, selecting candidates, and the orientation of independent contractors
• Troubleshoots open delivery areas and providing assistance through maintaining electronic delivery lists
• Works hard to meet customer expectations and special requests.

Pay Rate / Schedule Requirements:
• $17.00 per hour
• This is a 3rd shift position. (16 hours a week)
• Typically between Midnight and 8 am
• This position may be assigned tasks that will involve driving a vehicle for business purposes

Education and/or Experience
• Possess solid interpersonal and problem solving skills in the professional relationships with staff, independent contractors, and customers
• Must have a valid Driver’s license
• Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have auto insurance
• Must be able to safely perform all physical requirements including:
• Walking, standing, stooping and kneeling, reaching and twisting
• Repeatedly pushing and pulling 4-wheel newspaper carts weighing in excess of 200 lbs
• Repeatedly lifting newspaper bundles up to 40 lbs and similar physical movements
