Main purpose of the role:

To plan and carry out sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of the companies full national portfolio of PLM software solutions and related services to agreed accounts and prospects.

In close cooperation with the Management of our USA operations you will initiate and execute the marketing and sales strategies and develop our business. The work will include analysis and penetration of the market, execution of marketing activities, identification of prospects, pipeline building and closing of sales deals. You will negotiate with high level management and build long-term partnerships with our customers.

Key responsibilities:
• Continually support a named account list of approximately fifty (50) clients with 12 month documented account development plans for each account. The plan must be continually updated and stored within internal CRM.
• Must perform at least one (1) weekly sales pipeline review with their manager

· Weekly sales pipeline review includes:

o Quarter to date sales result

o Progress towards monthly and 120 day rolling goals

o Previous weeks activities

o Pipeline management

o Corrective plan for inadequate results

o CRM up to date
• Must continually maintain a minimum pipeline of 2X of your quota for a 120 day rolling period.
• Monthly Key Account Business Review. Your key account planning documents must be updated monthly.
• 360 business review: Forecast, Financial results, Services, Resource planning, Debt review and action plan.
• All described sales activities must be documented daily in the Company’s CRM tool.
• Provide Sales management a 120 day forward looking monthly commitment and maintain a or – 10% accuracy for the upcoming two months.
• Use of Dassault Systèmes sales process, sales material etc.
• Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
• Work with the marketing team to develop ideas and create offers for marketing to major accounts.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits.
• Required to be customer facing and travel nationally and locally when required.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
• Through dialogue with customers, carry out market research, competitor surveys.
• Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
• Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Work closely with the technical team to deliver the best solution for the clients.
• Attend trade shows and events when required.
• Any other tasks that are reasonably assigned to you by your line manager, including development activities, which are within your capability and grade.

Person Specification:

Desirable:
• Undergraduate degree or higher or equivalent (e.g. engineering, manufacturing, computer science).
• Experience within an engineering environment
• Experience within the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem
• Experience with Executive Level Sales
• Excellent presentation skills

Essential:
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
• Commercial awareness (the ability to recognise, define and exploit commercial opportunities)
• Proven track record within a business to business (b2b) or business to consumer (b2c) environment
• High level of self-motivation, organisation, resilience, positive attitude and willingness to succeed
• Confident, Persuasive and Outgoing
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently but also as part of a team
• Strong customer focus

Additional requirements

Willing to travel to clients’ sites locally and nationally

Full Driving License
