Job Description
• Tell the market’s weather stories in a way that connects with and captivates viewers.
• Develop innovative and creative ways of presenting the daily weather story, with an emphasis on accuracy and hyper local forecasting.
• Produce weather graphics and analyze data from the National Weather Service as well as other meteorological sources.
• Knowledge on how to use MAX reality.
• Required to produce weather segments for other Telemundo and NBCU stations.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• A minimum of two years’ experience as a TV Meteorologist
• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science
• Must have working knowledge of computer graphics systems such as: WSI, and Accuweather Proven experience using forecasting tools including Doppler Radar and Satellite Maps
• Must be completely fluent in Spanish and have proven excellent written and spoken Spanish-language skills
• Proven ability to ad-lib effortlessly on-air while under pressure during weather breaking news and during newscasts
• Must be willing and able to work extended hours, varying shifts (including nights, weekends and holidays)

Responsibilities
• Through the creative use of the camera, and proficient lighting and editing skills, will provide the viewer with a story on a given topic.
• Will operate ENG camera, live truck, and edit on Premiere edit systems.

Telemundo62 Philadelphia is in search of a digital and streaming producer to help cover local news across our suite of platforms, including Telemundo62.com, the Telemundo62 app, our 24/7 streaming channel, OTT apps, and social media platforms. TELEMUNDO COLORADO is seeking a Multimedia Journalist responsible for the writing and on-air delivery of daily newscasts. The ideal candidate will also shoot, write & edit news stories for all of our platforms, including broadcast, web, social media, and OTT. Responsibilities
• Responsible for gathering information on newsworthy events.
