• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required for driving positions.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required. Must be able to work independently and follow directions and instructions from the branch office consistently and thoroughly.

Appointment Length

Responsibilities
Location: Wichita, KS
Shift: 1st – Onsite
Key Accountabilities:
Apply knowledge of structural analysis (e.g., materials technology, finite element modeling, static analysis, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, vibration analysis, structural testing, etc.) to determine structural adequacy for customer requirements and regulatory compliance; and to collaborate on structural design, manufacturing, and post-delivery of products.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• This role requires US Citizenship
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. We have classified and non-classified programs.
• Candidate must be a resident of or willing to relocate to the Wichita, KS area.
• Perform structural analysis using classical hand analysis methods and finite element analysis on metallic and non-metallic structure.
• Demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
• Working knowledge of aerospace industry practices and standards
• Advanced thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Requires educational credentials meeting the Spirit classification standards for engineers and typically 10 years' experience in a stress or structural analysis engineering classification / position
• Bachelors of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering or other related course of study from an ABET accreditation is preferred, although not a required accreditation standard.
Preferred:
• Experience with aerospace subsystems strength analysis including dynamic/ vibration analysis, natural frequency analysis, and transport element (tubing) analysis
• Familiarity with NX, CATIA V5/V6 CAD, FEA, Stress Analysis, Structural Analysis, FEM
• Experience with metallic and composite analysis methods, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis
• Show ability to support related engineering delegations, such as ODA, MRO. OM, and design approval delegations.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
