SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

PAY: $115,000+ (negotiable based on experience)

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Account Executive develops and maintains relationships with customers and potential customers in the finance, banking, or credit industries at the regional and national level with the purpose of identifying their consumer information needs for processing applications for mortgages or other ancillary services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Prospects and develops new mortgage credit reporting business.
• Spends a minimum of 75%+ of time prospecting for new business; 25% cross-selling and retention of Marketing Plan defined customer base.
• Works closely with Account Advisory team(s) to provide support and strategy with customers as needed to support retention of business.
• Records all daily activities in CRM (Salesforce); meeting / exceeding minimum monthly requirements.
• Responsible for call preparation and strategizing prior to all meetings and virtual presentations.
• Attends onsite meetings as required and as approved by leadership; travel up to 30% which may include day/ overnight travel based on the territory managed.
• Responsible for meeting minimum sales goals as defined by leadership.
• Identifies the needs of potential customers, and prepares and presents professional sales presentations to customers that reflect positive solutions to meet their needs.
• Meets with the VP/SVP of Sales on a regular basis to keep leadership informed of the status of customers, problems and/or products.
• Stays informed of industry changes within the mortgage banking community and business in general, watching for potential prospects.
• Provides input and recommendations to VP/SVP of new product and service ideas.
• Assists, as needed, with the training of new account executives.
• Assists, as needed with sales presentations along with other account executives.
• Participates in and/or co-ordinates tradeshow activities which may require overnight travel.
• Attends team meetings and participates in conference calls. Communicates regularly with the sales team to discuss the status of new product development, data commitments, and technology changes as well as problems related to the operations area.
• Calls on existing customers, as needed, to provide sales support. Identifies additional needs for the customer and offers additional products and services. Works to resolves customer problems in a timely, efficient manner.
• Keeps leadership informed of competitors' activities, pricing and products by review of information from the customers and other sources.
• Maintains positive client relations. Meets deadlines, responds to customer communication calls and emails expeditiously.
• Consistently practices organized work habits - meets deadlines, is punctual and prepared for meetings and presentations.
• Keeps sales leadership up to date on status of clients, competition, and problems or issues that will affect CBC Companies and Factual Data.
• Willingness to invest the time to learn and interact in the business.
• Develops workable marketing plan and executes the plan.
• Adhere to and be compliant, as applicable, with GLBA, FCRA, FCPA, CAN-SPAM, FHA, ECOA, RESPA, UDAAP, as well as all other federal, state and local laws, and company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-10 years’ experience in outside sales, preferably in sales to banking, finance, credit card vendors, etc.
• 5+ years in selling services, concepts, &/or ideas, preferred.
• Experience working in the banking, finance, credit card vendors, etc. is very beneficial in understanding how these businesses use consumer data for business decisions as well as their unmet needs. 5+ years is beneficial.
• Must be available for normal working hours (8 am-5pm), as well as being available to attend after-hours networking functions and work extra hours if customer needs or workload requires.
• Must have initiative, ability to organize own work, and be self-disciplined and motivated.
• Must present a positive professional, business-like appearance and possess excellent effective oral and written communication skills. Being able to talk to the customer about business issues is key to success as well as being personable.
• Must have reliable transportation for use in regional sales calls, and able to travel when applicable to other markets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the person in this position will be required to frequently communicate information so others will understand. The person in this position may need to position self to maintain files in a cabinet and place computers under a desk or in a cabinet. This position requires ability to constantly observe typewritten text on a computer screen. The person in this role is required to operate a desktop computer and/or laptop and use a desk telephone regularly. The person in this position may be required to travel throughout the USA by automobile or airplane which may require overnight lodging.
