About the Position:

As the Produce-Floral Manager, you are taking the lead in managing department inventory, pricing integrity and other operational processes that require significant attention to detail. This is a fast-paced position that requires efficiency and effectiveness and a passion for excellence to deliver results.

About the Position:
The Fresh Market currently has an opening for an Energy Manager to be based at our Corporate Office in Greensboro, North Carolina (099). This position will be responsible for analysis of utility consumption data and rate structures. The successful candidate will be a strong team player possessing excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, and adaptable to a fast-paced, challenging environment. • Manage energy services providers (data providers and bill pay services).
• Manage the procurement of deregulated energy contracts.
• Management and set up of new service and existing utility accounts (deposits, outages etc.)
• Performing rate audits ensuring the correct rate structures.
• Analyze consumption and collaborate with internal Facilities staff and external parties to determine the causes/ corrections of excessive consumption.
• Help initiate and manage demand side initiatives (projects), providing energy savings calculation and follow up to determine actual savings.
• Apply for and track energy rebates.

Qualifications

At a minimum, what you'll need:
• 3-5 years of experience of category management and procurement in grocery or consumer product goods
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Possesses strong merchandising, product and marketing skills
• Demonstrate strong analytical, negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Ability develop/maintain strong working relationship with peers and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrates leadership and decision-making skills
• Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
• Willing and able to travel for trade shows and store trips
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
• Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadline
• Takes calculated risks to achieve results
• Develops creative solutions to business issues
• Identifies emerging trends and shops competition and market regularly
• Demonstrated skills with MS Office applications

Preferred qualifications:
• Familiarity with managing distribution vendors
• Experience utilizing Nielsen and/or IRI
• Experience with MicroStrategy

About the Position:

As the Scanning Specialist, you are providing excellent guest service and your attention to detail and multi-tasking skills will ensure accurate pricing and signage throughout the store.
What You'll Do:
• *
• Create guest confidence by ensuring accurate pricing throughout the store
• Conduct scheduled and random price audits to ensure accurate pricing for our guests 
• Manage Produce ID Training Program for the front-end to ensure accurate scanning and pricing of produce for guests
• Operate a cash register during peak business, and assist with other areas of the store as needed
• Monitor temperature of cases, spill overs, ovens and storage areas and report any failures  
• Inspect and store products to ensure quality in cleaning, sanitation procedures; track date and rotation of products, completing reports as necessary 
• Ensure department adherence to all safety requirements and protocols, including food safety, per The Fresh Market policies, and per law 

Availability:

This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
