As a Program Therapist for The Wave, you will interact with our clients daily and participate in various aspects of their day-to-day activities while in the program. In your role, you will be responsible for the following:
• Welcoming new clients to the facility and completing their intake assessments and safety planning
• Manage a caseload of assigned clients including weekly individual and/or family therapy sessions
• Facilitation of group therapy sessions (psychoeducational, process, CBT, DBT, anger management, etc.)
• Treatment plan development and weekly treatment team meetings
• Discharge planning
• Clinically sound and timely documentation (clear and concise notes)
What is Required
• Experience working with clients in a Healthcare facility is strongly preferred.
• Unrestricted Florida license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
• 2-3 years of group therapy experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and Education Verification
• Ability to download and use company applications such as Microsoft Teams, BambooHR, and TimeWorksPlus Employee on your cellphone
• Moderate Computer Literacy and ability to use Electronic Health Systems
