The Comparator Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and communication of projects for the sourcing of comparator products.

With the assistance of Sourcing Specialists & supply chain coordination team members, you ensure that the services are delivered on time and to customer's and Fisher's quality standards.

Acting as primary point of contact for clients, from first customer request, advising on appropriate sourcing strategy, providing timely and accurate communication and information for all relevant activities related to comparator projects, both internal and external. This is in order to ensure that the products are ready for the start of the study or as the need arises by the customer.

Timely preparation of reports and other information to customers is also required.

A day in the Life:
• Engage with customer or internal requestor at time of request to understand project scope and constraints. Gather those elements in internal systems, coordinate internal kick off meeting (if applicable), and ensure accurate handover to Sourcing team.
• Evaluate the alternatives provided by sourcing team, select the suitable solution for the customer (using also benchmark with official databases) and prepare quote for customer.
• Follow up closely with internal requestor or customer until final decision is made and update internal databases as per requirement.
• Prepare/Collect documentation to enable handover of confirmed project to Supply chain team. Follow up internally with Supply Chain team and QA team to ensure accurate update to customer regarding project advancement and completion.
• Maintain and share overview of ongoing projects with customer though Action/project tracker, SharePoint…. Lead discussions and status updates through teleconferences.
• Deputy function for other Project Manager on ad hoc basis
• Participation Customer and Suppliers meetings (QBR and likes)
• Active preparation of these meetings, inclusive generation of KPI and power point presentation on the key relevant points to discuss and report upon.
• Ensure knowledge of TMO, BSD, FCS, customer and Suppliers T&C, policies and likes
• Support company goal tree

The salary range estimated for this position is $79,000 - $110,000. The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD), has innovative analytics, from Lab to Line to Field. Work Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

The Sr. Assembler uses intermediate-level skills to assemble instrument components, sub-components and electro-mechanical assemblies. Performs soldering, pulling of large wires, fitting/mounting, alignment, adjusting and repairs. Reads and interprets detailed schematics, engineering drawings, wiring schematics. Work is done in conjunction with other specialists and under supervision.

A day in the Life:
• Assembles products in accordance with daily / weekly production schedules.
• Able to assemble mid-level soldering of components to circuit boards, switches, connectors and face plates
• Solder and connect mid-level and high level mechanical and electrical assemblies of chassis and cabinets
• Assemble large cables using coaxial cable and conduit.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics.
• Perform accurate wiring techniques, including harnessing terminations and connectors.
• Follows established work processes, procedures, standards, and methods.
• Uses various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
• Perform manufacturing tests and written documentation as required.
• Maintain equipment and performs housekeeping duties daily.
