Job Summary At FLIK, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented Lead Graphic Designer who can transform our culinary & hospitality concepts into engaging print and digital media that engages our guests. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from conception to final deliverables.
This role will require collaborating with multiple teams across the organization and working side by side with the Marketing and Creative Services team.
This role will require limited travel (up to 15%) within the Tri-State area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produces visually impactful solutions that tell our Company story, helping us in reaching new audiences and engaging with our existing guests and clients
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize, to execute a wide range of materials including presentations, signage, logo design, website design, video editing, social media graphics, and other marketing
• Develop concepts and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video assets
• Examine existing design processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities
• Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications
Required Qualifications:
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• 5+ years of experience (academic and professional) with design software including Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to continue building a skill set with education and training
Preferred
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency
• Bachelor’s degree (or professional experience equivalent) in graphic design, art, or a related discipline
• A strong eye for visual composition, color, and typography
• Experience with video content and editing applications
• Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
• Project management skills, efficiency in communicating timelines
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript a plus Apply to Flik today!
