This position should have the ability to work semi-independently (with limited to modest Category Manager involvement) across the strategic sourcing methodology steps and deliverables. This is a Hybrid position. You will be required to go into the office in San Jose, CA a minimum of 3 days a week.
Responsibilities: Review and analyze Zebra spend, prepare opportunity analysis, and key reports for category strategies, stakeholders, and executives of moderate scope. Facilitate, with limited to modest Category Manager involvement, the strategic sourcing process including supply market and supplier research, analyze and prepare RFx summaries, develop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, communication with suppliers and stakeholders, project scheduling the key project milestones, selection and supplier review/evaluations, Zebra value sheet preparation, etc. Facilitate, with limited to modest Category Manager involvement, the preparation of supplier negotiation preparation, communication and documentation, project planning, contracting process with submission and management with Zebra Legal.
Utilize the existing tools for eAuctions, spend and RFx management, etc. Facilitate, with limited to modest Category Manager involvement, the strategic sourcing methodology for smaller value purchases in collaboration with business stakeholders. Maintain appropriate procurement records and documentation.
Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree required with a preference for Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related; 5 years of sourcing and procurement experience. Excellent professional communications (verbal and written) with suppliers, stakeholders and management. Proven spend analytical skills including ability to drive data collection and analyses, interpret and draw conclusions, and effectively summarize results Resourcefulness gathering specific supply market research and intelligence that support making strategic sourcing business decisions Ability to problem solve with limited data and ambiguity Proven negotiations results from Strategic Sourcing process/methodology Established customer service skills, with an understanding of customer relationship building, communications and teamwork Self-disciplined and the ability to self-motivate and work successfully with a multi-disciplinary team Demonstrated project management skills with a desire to learn and ability to work independently in a fast paced, changing environment Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g.
Microsoft Excel), presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint), Oracle iProcurement, Scout, and SpendHQ (or similar programs). Preferred: MBA, CPSM is a plus.

Contract Management

The Sourcing and Procurement Specialist, Advisor is the second role of three Independent Contributor roles possesses deep category expertise, a demonstrated project management efficiency and effectiveness for complex regional to global projects exhibits leadership qualities and characteristics, and being an agent of change for the Procurement organization.
More specifically, the Specialist Advisor applies their multilayered and deep category experience by working closely with the business stakeholders to identify, define and execute key projects that support defined business goals and objectives over a 12-36-month horizon.

• Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits, and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements

• Contribute to measuring success, including savings, innovation related to process improvements, improved delivery and simplified processes
