The fellowship is a... one-year, full-time, position with a salary of $60,000 (with benefits). The position is remote, but you're welcome to work in Vox Media's NYC office if you're within commuting distance.
Thrillist Fellows will receive extensive training along with opportunities that go beyond the traditional entry-level/intern positions in digital media. Fellows will also have dedicated mentors to champion their development at Thrillist, plus exclusive networking opportunities, training sessions led by journalists and other experts at Vox Media, and the chance to attend one professional conference per year.
Both Fellows will primarily focus on Thrillist's Local vertical, which covers fun and exciting things to do in major cities across the United States. The day-to-day will include assisting editors with building articles in our CMS, publishing content, building newsletters, and various other editorial tasks. There will also be opportunities to write stories and contribute creatively across the site. Fellows will help ensure we maintain our high-quality standards with everything we make and be a big part of making sure our content goes out on deadline by coordinating with editors, writers, and the Audience Development and Creative teams.

A quick learner who can pick up on the quirks and nuances of our custom CMS and in-house style guide
A strong task manager with the ability to re-prioritize projects on the fly
A curious and passionate creative with an interest in making industry-leading lifestyle and culture content for massive audiences
