About the role:

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Digital Channels, the Specialist, Site Performance & Reporting is responsible for defining success metrics for Global Digital Channels and tracking, measuring, reporting against those metrics in support of advancing digital experiences for our Clients. Using marketing data and analytics, research, and other insights, the Specialist will identify continuous optimization opportunities and inform Client-centric and data-driven solutions with measurable results. This role involves working closely with marketing stakeholders, business unit stakeholders and digital teams globally to understand business needs/goals and deliver best-in-class digital Client experiences.

What will you do?
• Define KPIs and success measures for Global Digital Channels, with a focus on Sun Life’s Corporate websites (Sunlife.com, the intranet and privacy sites).
• Deliver global website/enterprise reporting, establishing a global view across all markets, utilizing existing dashboards and datasets to inform a global picture.
• Responsible for tracking, measuring, and reporting and defining measurement frameworks.
• Proactively interpret data and generate insights to better understand the Client Journey and user behaviors, informing Client-centric, data driven optimization opportunities and gaps.
• Leverage web, search, social, advertising and voice of the customer (VOC) analytics/metrics, as well as digital industry research, trends, best practices, insights to help identify, plan, and deliver these continuous enhancement and optimization opportunities across our digital properties.
• Support performance reporting for other Global Marketing programs and Marketing Technology measurement, as needed.
• Build relationships with global stakeholders, consult with them on key initiatives and strategies and provide them with support (as needed) on site performance and reporting, to help meet business objectives and advance their understanding of the practice.
• Partner with Global Digital Analytics teams and other Centres of Excellence and subject matter experts (i.e. Client Insights, SEO/Search, UX) to ensure their expertise is applied to measurement frameworks and other applicable programs.
• Lead and contribute to projects, managing internal and external relationships to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, on budget and within scope. This includes consulting, business cases, project briefs, collaborating with IT on technical enhancements from business requirements to execution.
• Support ad-hoc digital requests to help drive forward business needs and priorities.
• Responsible for a global lens for all digital properties, creating a global view across all markets, utilizing existing dashboards and data-sets to inform a global picture.
• Provide data/analytics guidance and support for our business partners in other regions.

What do you need to succeed?
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Business, Digital Marketing, Analytics or a related field
• 5 years experience in digital marketing
• Strong understanding of digital analytics, including defining KPIs/success measures with the ability to interpret data and generate insights to inform optimization opportunities and gaps and influence key business decisions
• Experience defining measurement frameworks aimed at consolidating and transform data to meaningful and actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency with web reporting, analytics tools and data visualization tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Tableau, SQL)
• Solid understanding of digital channels: web, mobile, search, social and paid advertising
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and consulting
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methods
• Advanced proficiency with standard business software

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
