To be a successful Affiliate (independent contractor) Travel Advisor, you should have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, travel-passionate individual. Experience in selling and servicing upscale leisure travel is great, but not required. An established network of existing or potential clients is a very big plus and indicator of future success. This is a commission-based position only.
Avenue Two Travel looks for individuals who will fit our culture. The following traits and skills are of the upmost importance:
• Pleasant, helpful, team-oriented personality (Our company atmosphere is casual, but serious. We have fun and support each other)
• Absolute honesty and integrity
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent geography skills
• A commitment to excellence and patience during client emergencies which don't always happen within your set business hours
• Good time management skills and analytical skills are important. You should be able to prioritize and manage your own projects and clients.
• A high level of verbal and written skills - when communicating with partners you are an extension of Avenue Two Travel - we embody the same hospitality we expect our partners to
• Problem-solving skills and customer service skills are paramount
• A desire to improve your skills and continually develop in your profession.
• Although our advisors can be located anywhere in the world, our advisors need to have a US address and bank account in order to be a part of Avenue Two Travel.

Requirements:
The Travel Advisor position involves the following qualities, duties and responsibilities:
• Ability to identify, solicit, engage and qualify customers
• Ability to apply a collaborative sales process to determine clients' needs and the objectives of each proposed trip
• Ability to make strong recommendations based on knowledge and expertise
• Plan full day-by-day logistics for clients as well as the creation of full itineraries with descriptions of each place to be visited
• Provide superb customer service to all clients
• Follow-up with clients after each trip to gain customer feedback
• Create and maintain client data and information within ClientBase
