Assistance Initiative as a Truman Fellow.
The Truman Fellowship Program (named for Harry S. Truman,
33rdPresident of the United States, who attended Kansas
City School of Law and served for a time as the presiding judge in
Jackson County, Missouri), provides newly licensed and experienced
attorneys with an opportunity for training and public service. The
Tenant Assistance Initiative provides legal counsel to tenants

• Utilizes appropriate transfer techniques, positioning, and safety activities as needed and/or ordered. Lifting of individuals will always be completed with two (2) personnel working together, where applicable.

POSITION STATUS: Non-Exempt
This position is responsible for the day-to-day support of assigned individuals. Works in cooperation with Residential Support Supervisor (RSS), Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP), Community RN, Consultant Dietitian, Consultant Occupational Therapist, and other support services staff, as applicable. The PSA will assist in advocating for the removal of architectural, environmental, attitudinal, financial, employment, communication, transportation, community integration, technology and any other barriers to the persons receiving services through TNC Community. The PSA will report all suspected/alleged abuse and neglect in accordance with the TNC Community policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must participate in all mandatory training and yearly re-certifications, as required.
