Summary of Job Duties:Under supervision of the AVC for
Enrollment Management & Director of Admissions, the Assistant
Director of Admissions Technology focuses on the management of the
UAFS Slate CRM instance. The role is integral to CRM customization,
development, cycle preparation, and training, to support the
objectives for the Office of Admissions and the university at
large. They will recommend Slate enhancements for
processing/operations. and implement new features. They will serve
as a liaison with other campus stakeholders and vendors. This role
supervisions one CRM Specialist and one Admissions Support
Specialist. This position is 100% remote.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Work Experience: Minimum
qualifications include a formal education equivalent to a
bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business,
marketing, or related field; plus two to five years’ experience in
IT, sales, higher education, or other related fields. Other
job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all
or part of these basic requirements upon approval.

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience: Experience with
Slate CRM. Completion of the Slate “Fundamentals” course and/or

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Move the Office of Admissions forward with full utilization and
implementation of features in Slate, and develop solutions
involving process design, data information and architecture, and
policy/procedural changes.
• Through Slate, support all efforts of the Office of Admissions
team, including but not limited to travel, events, application
management, admissions reading, and decision letters.
• Build and update all Slate-hosted undergraduate admissions
applications and forms
• Test new functionality delivered by Slate as well as test
regular updates and upgrades impacting feeds to SIS. Assist with
maintaining quality assurance and control, including inactivating
unneeded prompts/fields/activities/interactions, managing annual
cycle preparation, etc.
• Create and deliver end-user training/documentation and develop
ongoing assessment to ensure consistent use of system tools.
Provide functional and technical support to CRM users with varying
levels of technical skills, and lead UAFS staff in system testing
and updates.
• Manage the importing, exporting, and updating of all student
data in Slate and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data
within Slate, Banner, Workday, Capture, and other systems
• Partner with the Office of Financial Aid, Registrar’s Office,
ROAR Advising Center, Academic Support Services, etc. to ensure
accurate and efficient flow of applicant data and comms.
• Maximize efficiency and accuracy with application review,
scholarship programming and assignment, and admissions decision
release using Slate’s capabilities.
• With other Admissions Leadership Team members, recommend
strategies and plans to address opportunities and gaps in the
enrollment funnel with the aim of increasing inquiries and
converting more of these to applications, and ultimately to
enrolled students.
• Streamline processes, document workflows, and find
opportunities for operational efficiencies within and between
departments across the admissions lifecycle.
• Work closely with IT staff at UAFS to ensure proper maintenance
of admissions-related technological systems.
• Stay informed on college admissions trends and attend relevant
professional development opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

and Writing, and Media Communication at the University of Arkansas

Rhetoric and Writing beginning August 2024. We are a vibrant,
collegial faculty committed to excellent teaching, collaboration,
and mentorship. The successful candidate will be responsible for
teaching classes within the Rhetoric and Writing program as part of
the English BA, including general education composition classes.
Applicants should be able to teach a broad range of courses in
Creative Writing, with a focus on poetry, screenwriting, and
publishing. This position will also oversee Applause, our
award-winning creative writing journal. Candidates must have a
commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and scholarship.
The position reports to the Department Chair of English, Rhetoric
and Writing, and Media Communication.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Work Experience: Minimum
qualifications include an MFA in Creative Writing, with an emphasis
on poetry, screenwriting, and publishing; plus two years of

Summary of Job Duties:The Academic Success Center (ASC)
Assistant Director provides specialized academic support and
intervention programming for UAFS students. The ASC Assistant
Director position will support the Director in the development of
effective academic support services for students and the ASC and
help ensure the efficient operation of all programming. The ASC
Assistant Director will supervise part-time Peer Tutors and
Academic Coaches and work with the Director to ensure student
success and retention programs are managed efficiently including
academic coaching, peer tutoring, coaching case management,
classroom presentations, academic testing, and workshop
facilitation.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Work Experience: Master's degree
from a regionally accredited institution and three years of related
experience in an educational setting.

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience: Master’s degree
in Higher Education, Counseling, Assessment, Instructional Design
or a related field. Experience with peer mentoring programs,
student success coursework, or students with learning disabilities.
Direct supervision of undergraduate students.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Champions and manages ASC Peer Tutor Program which includes
hiring, training, and supervising part-time Peer Tutors and
providing ongoing program development and engagement
• Outreach, collaborate, build partnerships, and develop new
programs with students, faculty, and staff to support the mission
of the ASC and enhance academic coaching, testing, and tutoring
services
• Serve as an Academic Coach for at-risk populations, including
non-traditional students, transfer students, and students in the
College of Health, Education, and Human Sciences
• Analyze and evaluate programming to better communicate with
stakeholders the impact and value of ASC services and
interventions
• Administer, proctor, score, and transmit results of all tests
administered by the Testing Center. Observe college, state/federal,
and test agency policies and procedures for
security/confidentiality of testing records; includes adherence to
FERPA as it relates to the ASC and testing services.
• Supports broader student success and retention initiatives at
UAFS through committee participation, research & analytics, and
continued process improvement.

terminal degree in Graphic Design or related field from an
accredited institution within one year of hire may also be

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience:

Area of expertise is open; those with interests or training in more

college or university level strongly preferred. Preferred research
interests include: typography, branding, and/or emerging
technologies. Experience with print production and/or digital

Summary of Job Duties:The College of Health Education and
Human Sciences recognizes that its programs and faculty are diverse
and, therefore, each individual faculty member’s workload

Responsibilities include classroom, clinical, and laboratory

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Work Experience: Must possess a
masters or higher degree in dental hygiene or related field. Must
be a graduate from a dental hygiene program accredited by the

years’ clinical experience. Must hold a current unencumbered RDH
license with a local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certificate. Must
be current in CPR and hold an Arkansas state license or be eligible
to obtain an Arkansas RDH license.

degree or higher in dental hygiene or related field or be currently
enrolled in a Master’s program. Preferred experience of more than
five years’ clinical practice and/or preferred experience in
