Job Description

Analyze business user needs and then design, develop and maintain a scalable test automation framework in an Agile Scrum development environment. Develop test strategy, test plans, and test cases to identify software problems and their causes. Perform software automation testing using Selenium, SoapUI, Postman, JIRA, SQL. Work closely with manual QA and developers to identify the test cases for automation. Implement Test Automation Framework using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG under Java platform utilizing industry leading harness design patterns and approaches. Test REST and SOAP web services using SoapUI. Perform API testing using the Postman tool. Create test cases and demo the stories that are completed in the sprint cycle with automation. Create Automation Regression suite and set up Jenkins for nightly build run. Document test results, test procedures, and test cases after every release in Jira. Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify the back-end data.

Minimum Requirements:

M.S. Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 2 years of experience in performing software automation testing using Selenium, SoapUI, Postman, JIRA, SQL

As an alternative to minimum requirements, we will accept a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience.

Location: Will work in Irving, Texas and/or various client sites throughout the United States. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.

Job Description

Responsible for full SDLC including designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting of software applications using C#, ASP.NET, .Net Core, WCF, Web API, JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server(TFS). Analyze technical requirements and design new components, web pages and controls to meet functional, performance and availability requirements. Maintain software applications, including, but not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning, troubleshoot and debug complex issues. Deliver high quality code that is maintainable, readable and adheres to coding standards. Develop database stored procedures and SQL scripts that meet database standards. Work on Agile projects using test driven development. Use Git version control system for release/version management of software applications. Use Jenkins for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Location: Will work in Irving, Texas and/or various client sites throughout the United States. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
