Job Description
The Department of Educational Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor of Equity and Diversity in Education. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students within equity and diversity programs, pursuing a substantial and relevant program of research, advising students, and continuing professional development. The faculty will have an interdisciplinary focus on educational disparities and systemic inequalities, equity, intersectionality, cultural analysis, and social justice. Appointment includes online and/or face-to-face teaching of equity and diversity courses in both graduate and undergraduate programs. Faculty will also be expected to contribute to growing and evolving programs in a variety of capacities including, but not limited to, curriculum development and innovation, collaborating with colleagues on programmatic structural revisions and program evaluation, instructional design, research, collaboration with school districts and other community partners, and advising and working closely with undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants at the Associate Professor rank are expected to have a more established record in the areas of research, teaching, and service.
Required Qualifications
Earned doctorate in Education or a related field with a focus on Equity and Diversity; Social Justice; Multicultural Education; or other relevant disciplines by time of appointment. Demonstrated record of scholarship in topics related to equity and diversity in education or a related field.
Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to equity and diversity in education or closely related fields, experience in teaching courses relevant to the education of multilingual learners, experience in teaching asynchronous and synchronous online courses, experience in working with populations from diverse backgrounds, experience in working with or advising graduate students, experience in obtaining external funding and/or grant management, experience in engaging communities and/or organizations to promote equity and diversity issues and advocate for historically marginalized populations.

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking applications for a Coordinator, User Services. The Coordinator ensures the highest quality of customer service in @One service locations in the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center and collaborates with other departmental staff to find solutions and apply appropriate technologies to satisfy customer needs. The position is responsible for day-to-day management and operations of the @One Service Desk, the @One Print Production area, and the @One Main Floor computer use area, including supervising staff and student assistants, scheduling activities, and coordinating public service activities.
The Coordinator is expected to:
• Serve as lead professional for @One public services including the central service desk, main computer use area, and the Production and Printing Center
• Directly organizes and participates in training sessions or workshops, designed to enhance student and staff working knowledge of multimedia technology in @One .
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate professional, temporary staff and student employees
• Maintains the staffing schedule and monitors the @One activities/events calendar
• Manages the logistics required for a smoothly functioning @One end-user experience, including maintaining inventory of materials, managing the operating and student wage budget, communications with IT regarding health and refresh of @one floor computers, general maintenance of printing equipment, programming of Wolfcard register system, managing of print and student fee transactions and tracking of tagged UNR property
• Tracks, monitors, and administers recharge and fee based operating budget (>$100K) for print production; makes budget projections, facilitates procurement, reconciles expenses, and provides fee justifications.
• Works directly with vendors to source and procure print production materials and equipment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related professional work experience OR
Master's Degree and one (1) years of related work experience
Related Experience: Digital media (graphic preparation for print), customer service, print management, or any combination of related experience as outlined
Preferred Qualifications

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking applications for a Coordinator, User Services. The Coordinator ensures the highest quality of customer service in @One service locations in the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center and collaborates with other departmental staff to find solutions and apply appropriate technologies to satisfy customer needs. The position is responsible for day-to-day management and operations of the @One Service Desk, the @One Print Production area, and the @One Main Floor computer use area, including supervising staff and student assistants, scheduling activities, and coordinating public service activities.
The Coordinator is expected to:
• Serve as lead professional for @One public services including the central service desk, main computer use area, and the Production and Printing Center
• Directly organizes and participates in training sessions or workshops, designed to enhance student and staff working knowledge of multimedia technology in @One .
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate professional, temporary staff and student employees
• Maintains the staffing schedule and monitors the @One activities/events calendar
• Manages the logistics required for a smoothly functioning @One end-user experience, including maintaining inventory of materials, managing the operating and student wage budget, communications with IT regarding health and refresh of @one floor computers, general maintenance of printing equipment, programming of Wolfcard register system, managing of print and student fee transactions and tracking of tagged UNR property
• Tracks, monitors, and administers recharge and fee based operating budget (>$100K) for print production; makes budget projections, facilitates procurement, reconciles expenses, and provides fee justifications.
• Works directly with vendors to source and procure print production materials and equipment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related professional work experience OR
Master's Degree and one (1) years of related work experience
Related Experience: Digital media (graphic preparation for print), customer service, print management, or any combination of related experience as outlined
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in higher education
• Experience supervising both professional staff and student employees
• Experience in Customer Service
• Experience working in an integrated library system (Alma, Sierra, etc)

• Budget administration experience

Minimum salary is $60,000. This is a full-time, Administrative Faculty position at a Compensation Grade B.
