Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Analyst is responsible for maintaining the APO file for all production locations, SOPO (Sales Orders/Purchase Orders) process for all intercompany required AI's and FG's, as well as daily communications with the planning team to understand and convey changes to the procurement team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining the APO file for raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PKG), active ingredients (AI's) and finished goods (FG's) for all production locations.
Conduct weekly calls with individual planning team members to receive and provide updates on monthly production. All updates are provided to the purchasing team after each call.
Communication of any changes to the production forecasts and APO file such as but not limited to added or canceled production to the purchasing team.
Conduct monthly calls to review the AI (Active Ingredients) & FG (Finished Goods) tab of the APO file with purchasing and planning teams.
Creation of purchase requisitions where needed for AI's, FG's, PKG and RM's.
All aspects of the SOPO (Sales Orders / Purchase Orders) process for orders placed on India server as well as other UPL entities. This includes resolving any issues that may arise during the process.
Create purchase orders for AI and FG's for sources outside of UPL. Place purchase orders and follow up on delivery as required.
Expedite deliveries of open purchase orders for PKG and RM's when required.
Preparing monthly global MIS from information provided by Senior Buyers.
Investigate and reporting differences in the monthly PPV (Purchase Price Variance) and CNOD (Credit Number of Day's)
Create and coordinate required STO's (Stock Transfer Orders).
Coordinate and convey information from Senior Buyers required for annual internal and external audits.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least 1-3 years of experience in buying/procurement/logistics/or similar position.
Working knowledge of SAP highly preferred, but not required.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel is required.
Able to work independently and cross-functionally with a team.
Strong communication skills and consistent follow up with internal and external customers.
Travel: Less than 20% of time on the job.

UPI Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Fabrication Technician who is ready to lead a highly motivated team. As Fabrication Supervisor you will be responsible for the management of our Bystronic 12k Fiber Laser and 3 Bystronic Press Brakes as well as perform complex setups and develop methods to manufacture quality parts. The Fabrication Supervisor has ~6 direct reports that they are responsible for communicating the planned work to. The Fabrication Supervisor is also responsible for reporting the status of the scheduled tasks to the Production Manager / Scheduler.
Required Skills:
Ability to supervise and participate in operational activities related to fabrication
Read and interpret blueprints
Use an ERP (UPI uses Epicor) to: Print schedules, Check Labor Edit Report for accuracy, Approve First-Offs, Claim parts / activites as done, Report non-conformances/scrapped parts
Ability to set up and operate CNC Press Brakes.
Determine appropriate tooling.
Thorough understanding of nesting software. (UPI uses Bysoft)
Desired Skills:
Ability to program Laser and Press Brake
Attentiveness to details with a strong desire for precision and accuracy when executing job duties
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Good attendance and punctuality required
Create and maintain an aggressive pace
Qualifications:
Supervisory experience
3+ years Press Brake experience
