Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide academic advising by developing collaborative relationships with Talent Development students through appreciative advising.
Hold weekly individual and group meetings with Talent Development students.
Conduct Progress Check Point evaluations with Talent Development students.
Develop and coordinate programs that support retention, such as learning strategies, access to resources, and services that assist in navigating higher education institutions, learning and study strategies, and workshops for summer participants.
Maintain confidential records regarding students, program documents, and all confidential information.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of University policies and procedures that support and assist in retaining students.
Assist with parent and family engagement.
Participate in scholastic standing review as needed.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represent Talent Development on campus wide committees.
Assist with Social Media accounts and student communication. Communicate with advising caseload regarding special events and university programs.
Work evenings and weekends, when necessary.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:
Personal computers, printers and word processing, database management and spreadsheet software.
Required Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. Minimum of three years of combined experience in two or more of the following: advising in an academic program setting, coordinating programs, and/or working in a Title IV grant program.
3. Demonstrated school-based experience and/or community work experience.
4. Demonstrated strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
6. Demonstrated computer skills.
7. Willingness to travel.
8. Demonstrated program planning experience.
9. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
PREFERRED:
1. Master’s Degree.
2. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
3. Demonstrated fluency in Spanish or Southeast Asian languages.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist in the administration and coordination of the Residential Education programs and services with specific focus on supervision of in hall professional, graduate and student staff, in addition to overseeing student community standards and special projects within the department.
Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and professional expertise in the areas of: Supervision, Administration, Functional Area Leadership, and Community Standards.
Responsible for the direct supervision of professional and graduate student staff. Indirectly supervise student leader staff. Meet regularly with direct reports. Provide regular evaluations of staff. Participate in staff recruitment and selection efforts. Maintain staff employment files. Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
Responsible for procurement processes for hall programming efforts, following department and state purchasing guidelines.
Meet with students to address concerns within their residence hall area. Oversee customer service needs, work with parents and students to resolve issues that may arise. Serve on the University Care Team to provide cohesive institutional support for students.
Responsible for the direct oversight of a functional area, such as staff training and development, residential curriculum, educational initiatives, and/or summer housing/conferences.
Investigate allegations of individual and group violations of community standards. Interpret institutional policies, rules, and regulations. Charge undergraduate and graduate students and groups involved in violations, recommend sanctions, and serve as an administrative hearing officer. Maintain detailed records of community standards action. Work closely with the Dean of Students Office, Campus Police, faculty, and staff regarding student conduct issues. Oversee the community standards caseload of supervisees. Manage student behavioral interventions, including, but not limited to students of concern, student wellness concerns and the intersection of these issues with the student community standards process. Serve as a member of the community standards team.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create opportunities to enhance communication with residential students, such as increasing social media and web presence.
Develop reports and documents as requested.
Assess the success of Residential Education programs and research/benchmark for the Office.
Maintain records and information as requested.
Remain informed of best practices and make recommendations for improvements.
Promote a culture of learning and professional development.
Assist in the coordination and oversight of department special projects, such as transitions, move-ins, closings, admission events, and others as requested.
Participate in and lead committees, work groups, and meetings.
Provide emergency response coverage in cases requiring immediate adjudication or intervention.
Assist with departmental on-call coverage.
Responsibilities may require working a non-standard schedule in order to fulfill assigned duties.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist in the administration and coordination of the Residential Education programs and services with specific focus on supervision of in hall professional, graduate and student staff, in addition to overseeing student community standards and special projects within the department.
Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and professional expertise in the areas of: Supervision, Administration, Functional Area Leadership, and Community Standards.
Responsible for the direct supervision of professional and graduate student staff. Indirectly supervise student leader staff. Meet regularly with direct reports. Provide regular evaluations of staff. Participate in staff recruitment and selection efforts. Maintain staff employment files. Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
Responsible for procurement processes for hall programming efforts, following department and state purchasing guidelines.
Meet with students to address concerns within their residence hall area. Oversee customer service needs, work with parents and students to resolve issues that may arise. Serve on the University Care Team to provide cohesive institutional support for students.
Responsible for the direct oversight of a functional area, such as staff training and development, residential curriculum, educational initiatives, and/or summer housing/conferences.
Investigate allegations of individual and group violations of community standards. Interpret institutional policies, rules, and regulations. Charge undergraduate and graduate students and groups involved in violations, recommend sanctions, and serve as an administrative hearing officer. Maintain detailed records of community standards action. Work closely with the Dean of Students Office, Campus Police, faculty, and staff regarding student conduct issues. Oversee the community standards caseload of supervisees. Manage student behavioral interventions, including, but not limited to students of concern, student wellness concerns and the intersection of these issues with the student community standards process. Serve as a member of the community standards team.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create opportunities to enhance communication with residential students, such as increasing social media and web presence.
Develop reports and documents as requested.
Assess the success of Residential Education programs and research/benchmark for the Office.
Maintain records and information as requested.
Remain informed of best practices and make recommendations for improvements.
Promote a culture of learning and professional development.
Assist in the coordination and oversight of department special projects, such as transitions, move-ins, closings, admission events, and others as requested.
Participate in and lead committees, work groups, and meetings.
Provide emergency response coverage in cases requiring immediate adjudication or intervention.
Assist with departmental on-call coverage.
Responsibilities may require working a non-standard schedule in order to fulfill assigned duties.

Facilitate the use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services to provide a strong IAM program that balances access with compliance and confidentiality. Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Identify a broader impact of current decisions related to user access, data access and information security. Communicate with business owners, application owners, IT staff, and development partners. Interact closely with product vendors and service providers, with personnel from the various IT divisions within departments including distributed ITS Partners and with business units across the University. Build professional relationships with campus constituents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate the use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services to provide a strong IAM program that balances access with compliance and confidentiality.
Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.
Identify the broader impact of current decisions related to user access, data access and information security.
Document identified business outcomes and facilitate alignment with them.
Align IAM processes across the University and develop and document standards for university use.
Co-lead an IAM selection process, evaluate existing and emerging technologies and tools in the selection of an IAM service offering for the business units and colleges.
Understand business and information technology management processes and demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards.
Foster an understanding of the need for and application of the IAM system and facilitate decision making with URI business units and colleges.
Build and nurture positive working relationships with business units and colleges.
Identify opportunities to improve engagement with the business units and colleges.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Create and maintain a complex variety of security and risk documentation (e.g., Policies, process diagrams, risk registers, etc.) that may be shared with various audiences.
Assist in cultivating a risk aware culture through outreach and education.
Perform other duties as assigned.
LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel); Information security concepts, Information security tools, and standards; Advanced Information Security principles.
Required Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience working in information technology, security, and/or risk management.
3. Demonstrated technical architecture experience (i.e., integrating identity management, access management and access governance software into infrastructure and applications).
4. Demonstrated familiarity with one or more of the following Identity management areas: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Active Directory, InCommon Federation, Microsoft Identity Manager, single sign-on (SSO), identity federation, and/or enterprise directory architecture and design (i.e., directory schema, directory services, namespace and replication topology experience, resource provisioning).
5. Demonstrated experience with identity and access governance (including role-based access control, access request and certification, user life cycle management processes and change management).
6. Demonstrated understanding of IAM concepts (including federation, authentication, authorization, access controls, access control attacks, identity and access management provisioning life cycle), Radius and MFA.
7. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
8. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
9. Demonstrated experience managing projects.
10. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of information security industry standards and government regulations.
11. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
Preferred Qualifications:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, advise and prepare students for outgoing education abroad programs (direct enrollment, international and national exchange, and program provider programs) and support inbound exchange students. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct information sessions on an individual and/or group basis regarding the program selection process and manage the URI and program providers’ education abroad and national exchange application process.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with on-campus and program provider partners.
Manage administrative processes associated with advising, nominating, and orienting students for international and national programs.
Develop education abroad promotional materials and stimulate interest in education abroad through outreach events such as classroom visits, Admissions events, and annual Study Abroad Fair.
Assist in developing and promoting URI education abroad programs, provide input into admissions decisions, and ensure students’ compliance with registration and transfer credit requirements.
Curate supportive relationships and academic portfolio recommendations aligned with learning objectives of assigned academic programs, departments, and colleges.
Assist with assessment and development of established and new programs. Assist with the collection and reporting of data, which includes but is not limited to, program evaluation and the development of policies and procedures to improve program and service effectiveness.
Maintain and update the application software, TerraDotta, as well as the URI International Education website to reflect accurate program offerings and application requirements.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Share collaborative efforts with the Assistant Director and with academic and non-academic units within and outside the University.
Participate in the International Center 24-hour emergency number response rotation.
Continually review department processes and systems to support accurate, instructional, and easy to understand messaging.
Perform other duties as required.
LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:
Personal computers, printers; word processing, database management, spreadsheet software.
REQUIRED:
1) Bachelor’s degree.
2) Demonstrated experience with high-volume advising and administrative responsibilities.
3) Minimum of two years of dedicated experience working in student focused campus offices and/or student advising.
4) Demonstrated understanding of international education program models.
5) Demonstrated awareness of health and safety issues related to education abroad.
6) Demonstrated multicultural competencies.
7) Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
8) Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.

Installing electronic magnets on perimeter doors and maintaining the wiring and power supplies that control them.
Thorough knowledge and experience with computers, computer hardware, and all peripherals associated with the daily operation of computers.

To requisition, and be responsible for the equipment, materials, tools, and supplies necessary for proper installation, maintenance repair.
To submit written recommendations and reports as required.
To do related work as required.
Required Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS AND CAPACITIES:
A thorough knowledge of the practices, processes, tools and materials utilized in the installation, maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electronic and computerized security locking system; the ability to program and maintain the computer base for the computerized locking system and the card access system; the ability to analyze programming and mechanical breakdowns and take appropriate corrective action, including the procurement of materials or
