Position Summary
The Merchandise Specialist will support the Sr. Brand Product Director and Manager with building, launching, and maintaining a successful Los Angeles based sub-brand for SHEIN. The Associate will have the ability to identify apparel fashion trends and execute product development under guidance of Director and Product Manager/Merchandiser. The Associate should work with speed, accuracy, and a high degree of cross-functional excellence, while having the ability to see the product through the end.
Job Responsibilities
• Research and present new and unique trend ideas for apparel product.
• Ability to speak effectively about consumer and social media trends, retail competition, and fashion landscape.
• Assist with preparation of development sheets for monthly trend stories. Work directly with China product team to problem solve on individual styles.
• Daily follow up and communication with overseas team. Ability to minimize production risk.
• Participate in weekly video fittings.
• Demonstrate ability to meet calendar deadlines.
• Strong eye for outfitting from product ideation to physical sample styling.
• Prepare cross-functional skill set working closely with China and LA teams.
• Prepare for monthly photo shoots ensuring smooth process with sample organization and styling directives.
• Assist Director with purchasing samples, organizing, and styling for complete outfits.
• Assist with any post-photography needs.
Job Requirements
• Bachelors Degree OR equivalent professional experience
• 1+ year of working in merchandising/buying or product development.
• Trend driven and creative. Knowledge of product, designers, and influencers.
• Some knowledge of fabric, construction, and fit.
• Highly organized, calendar driven and ability to self-manage.
• Skilled at collaboration and problem solving.
• Computer savvy
• Positive attitude and ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
• M-F on site. Video conferences with China outside of normal working hours.

Position Summary
The Product Manager/Merchandiser will support the Brand Sr. Product Director in building, launching, and maintaining a successful Los Angeles based sub-brand for SHEIN. • Collaborate with Director to develop monthly line plan by category and sub-classes, fabric, and colors.
• Prepare detailed development direction to overseas team that requires little follow up while controlling development costs and strategizing fabric.
• Daily follow up and communication with overseas team to minimize production risk.
• Participation in weekly video fittings with China team and effectively make product decisions.
• Prepare comments for bulk denim fittings in LA office and communicate to China team.
